My man love and I are easing into BDSM, him as the Dominant, and I as the Submissive. I was wondering if there were any good pointers that anyone would like to share some pointers or past/present experiences to help us, or anyone else who may read this, get a grip on where we could take our new found pleasure.

It's wonderful that you're starting to explore BDSM and asking questions. We have a club here, actually, that is dedicated to kink and explaining BDSM and such. If you go to the club section and click the Eden Kink link there are two discussions that we've had so far and I encourage you to come to those discussions when we have them once a month!
Our last discussion was actually about exploring BDSM for the first time, so you may find that useful.
