I modified a set of X-10 anal beads. They were just too long, so I cut off the first bead and then trimmed some of the extra material off the beads so it wouldn't rub and scratch.

I've modified several toys: a little duct tape here, mix and match there (switch bullets). Now that we have several toys, it's easier to find what we need to make it work.

I know that every now and then my husband and I buy a toy that doesn't quite work right. We had spending money just to waste it, so we often try to modify the toys to fit us. I bought a jackrabbit with a clitoral attachment that I didn't like, and my hubby was nice enough to buy an attachment cover for it. Other toys we will actually re-design as in breaking off parts that are painful, smoothing seams down, etc.

I had to remove the bullets from a pair of vibrating nipple clamps. They were just too heavy and caused too much friction for the clamps to stay on.

I've taken sandpaper to plastic toys with obnoxious seams, rewired bullets to use with better controllers (and said controllers with quieter bullets), stuck my Jimmyjane Little Steel Vanitas in every bullet hole on every toy ever because watch battery bullets are the devil, added a base to a silicone vibrator to make it anal safe, taken a knife to the clit attachment on a rabbit, and recently stripped the 'velvet cote' off a pocket rocket that apparently got overheated in the mail and got all melty.

I've swapped out bullets and sanded seams. I don't think that I have ever made any huge modifications, but some things need tweaking.

Did a little surgery on Vixskin Johnny. When he arrived he had what would appear to have been pearly penile papules... resembling skin tags all over the more detailed portions (around the foreskin fold and the testicles) it was terribly unattractive... so I used a really good pair of tweezers and removed each one extremely carefully. Looks perfect now
