The loops are at least twice as long as necessary, which causes some discomfort. They are composed of silicone. Can anyone suggest a way to reattach them to form a loop again after I've cut them down to a better length?
How to: Shorten the removal loop for Teneo Uno and Duo.

Hmmmm
You might be able to reattach them by bringing them together into a loop form and either hot-gluing or super gluing them together. Hot glue seems like it'd be a lot safer and more doable though. Just keep the hot glue gun on a low setting and wait just a second before smoothing the glue with your fingers.

Can't you just tie it in a knot and cut off the excess like we used to do with tank top and purse straps when we were young? When you make a bracelet out of elasticised cord you knot it left over right then right over left etc to make sure that the slippery material diesn't fine undone- then just cut off the excess. If you do the knots several times you woud have what would be more like a tampon string than a loop. I think it would work. I have UNO I'll try later

The issue with simply cutting it and tying knots is that the removal loop is relatively bulky to begin with, so knots would just make it worse.

Twist it once in the middle and bring the top of the loop down to the ball, then attach it with hot glue? All I can think of
