Do you prefer videos or reviews?

I know that are beneficial and you can learn from them, but which do you REALLY like more? I think I can learn more from reviews, although sometimes a video provides visual stimulation and shows you how a toy looks/feels. A lot of toys that I use on the site don't have videos, so I have to rely on reviews alone and I've come to get used to read paragraphs and paragraphs before I buy a sex toy.

I like reading best, because then I can get a better sense of whether my body is the same as, or different from, the reviewer.
A video is incredibly useful for finding out floppiness/firmness, though. But I'm going to go with written reviews if I have to pick one.

Both. A good video review beats a less helpful text review. I love to be able to see the toy. But the written ones are much more detailed and thorough...(the good ones at least) I really can't choose!

I like the visual of videos more.

I prefer the written reviews over videos. While I enjoy the non-adult videos, I tend to read more than I watch when it comes to reviews so I had to choose written. I prefer lengthy, full-of-details written reviews though.

I chose other b/c I like both if they have both.

Video reviews are great, because this way you can see a product "in action", find out about flexibility, sound, size, etc. But most of the time I prefer written reviews, because they offer more details overall. This is especially true for lingerie as sizing is sometimes tricky!

I love video reviews, but usually I am not in a space I Can watch them so I prefer written.

For me it depends on the video and the text review. Some videos I don't find very helpful, especially if the toy doesn't get turned on during the video, and the vibrations don't get demonstrated. A good text review can really tell you everything you need to know, and then a good video review can be the icing on the cake!

I prefer the videos since you can get a good look at pretty much every angle of the product that way but I usually take the time to read most of the reviews as well.

I prefer actual reviews just because whenever I see a video I sort of skip right past it? I guess because I don't want to have to deal with volume and such.

It always depends on the quality of the reviews, but I think I may prefer an excellent video review to an excellent text review when it comes to casual browsing. I like seeing how a toy is charged, for example, or how long it is compared to another toy. Seeing how it sounds, how the buttons and controls are operated, et cetera. I like watching conversational vlogs anyway, so videos made by personable reviewers really appeal to me. The longer the better!
If it's a toy I am seriously considering buying I am more interested in diving into text reviews. I feel like I have to study and make an educated decision. It really just depends on my mood though. Occasionally I need to give my eyes a break from reading on a computer screen.

I honestly am more likely to read a review if there's a video or pictures attached, because it's helpful for me in my decision-making to see the product being held/handled and spoken about. But I definitely base my opinion on both reading and watching.

I'm not entirely sure which I like better. Written reviews tend to be more in-depth and informative overall, but videos give you a better idea of how a toy looks and behaves in real life (floppiness, squishiness, etc.). If I'm just browsing, videos work out better (especially if I'm tired and am having trouble concentrating), but if I'm really looking to buy, I prefer to read.

I like reviews much better. I'm a fast reader, and I hate having to sit through the entire length of a video to get all the information.

I would prefer a video if the toy/item isn't straightforward on how to use it... also good for those things that you need to see.

I like reading reviews because they are more detailed. I like to know how it was used and what exactly people like about a product.

I think you're forcing a choice that you don't need to make. Text and video reviews complement each other, and that's why the video reviews are all linked with a text review. The videos show some things about how the toys are and work that are difficult to convey with words, but in 4 minutes you can't talk about everything, so you put that in the written review.
