2 collections for partner and solo use?

Do you have 2 collections of sex toys? I mean, I know there are toys that are supposed to be used with a partner eg. cock rings and the we-vibe. But what sort of toys do you particularly get a kick out of using with your partner. What characteristics of the toys really do it for you in this situation? And which ones do you love using alone? Does intimidation play a part in you bringing these toys into play with your partner or is it just that you like using them alone, like "that's just what I do"? How much does function play a part in choosing the ones you bring in to partner play?

Alright I'll admit I've been thinking about this quite a bit. I am thinking about what primarily motivates me to buy sex toys. When I think about sex toys I really lust after, I guess I really think of them in terms of being able to use them with a partner. I wonder whether this is partially due to my boyfriend's reluctance to use the toys I have now though.

I bought some liberator shapes recently, which are obviously meant to be shared. They are just superb and crank things up so well for us. I don't regret the decision AT ALL, but basically I chose these over an eroscillator which I also plan to get in the long run. But while I might think of the eroscillator as the holy grail of vibrators, I don't know that it really turns me on to be using it with a partner. It's pretty and it's functional, but then I'm thinking about the cord. Now I'm considering buying a different, expensive pretty, small and quiet cordless vibe for my clit during sex. Light and fun and non-intrusive, but possibly less effective. It's like I've got a complex about using something for function rather than kink. Which is sort of against my principles as a sexually liberated young woman, but there I am.

The idea of using vibes and dildos with my boyfriend really turns me on and influences my choice of toys, but sadly I don't do it that often. There's not a whole lot of kink in our relationship, but I'm hoping to spice it up a bit. I guess I have two toy collections because there are some toys I'd never be willing to bring to sex play again. But now I seem only to be wanting to buy toys that I can use comfortably with a partner, even though we hardly do and my boyfriend isn't really keen on using them anyway.

Well, I have some bondage tape coming in the mail and a cool rake like massager for some spine tingling sensations which sould be pretty good to use. I think it would be great to be tied up and have someone use toys on me. I would love for my boyfriend to start using my alumina revolve on me too, because I love temperature play, and it is really easy for me to use on myself, so I guess it wouldn't be too far of a leap for him to use it too.

There are some toys I wish I could add to my partner list, but I'm not sure how my boyfriend would take it. Benjamin Bond for example, like, how cute would it be to be tied up and having someone tease you with him? But his girth might make him intimidating to my boy. And I think about how great oral might be with a Jollie's dildo like the Jollet inserted. The tentacle would also be great for kinking it up. But with these toys I always stop because of the size factor. Does dildo intimidation ever get in the way? I don't think my boyfriend even enjoys knowing I own large dildos becasue he thinks they're like replacement cocks, (though he has nothing to worry about). And the other thing is the ease of use in a partner's hands...and i'm sort of wondering about that with big or heavily textured toys too...And then there are rabbits. How well do they stack up with partner play? Does your partner think they do too much of the work? I see them as pretty much designed for solo, which is why I have put off and off buying my pick of the bunch for a while now. Anyone like using rabbits with a partner?

*sigh* well that's me.

Really, all the toys we have get use together.
There are some I enjoy using alone, but he likes using just about everything we have on me.

I do tend to organize my toys into three groups. Stuff I use with a partner, stuff I use solo and kinky stuff. The kink group I also use with a partner, but I've just always kept cuffs, floggers, collars, etc. in their own case.
