This may sound silly, but my arms are short. This makes fingering myself and using some insertable toys rather difficult and uncomfortable, especially in certain positions.

I know when I was pregnant I couldn't reach around my stomach, it became impossible for me to masturbate. Were you leaning on one arm? That is always really uncomfortable for me.

My wife has short arms so playing solo isn't much fun for her. You just have to find a good toy that works for you. She has found the Hitachi wand work good laying down because it is long and reaches her clit with no problem. She has also found that sitting up and playing also work but isn't as comfortable as laying down. Also I have gotten her suction cup style toys that she can use hands free. That's me! I'm just short all over, really, and heavy-set, so some of the longer toys are more difficult for me. Also, I love anal play, but I can't reach!! I tried it on my side, but I am not flexible whatsoever, but my husband is sometimes willing to help. =)
