Oh you poor thing, you must be traumatized! I try to keep everything out of my sons reach. He is 2 1/2 and into everything. He found a vibe, turned it on and I caught him tickling his nose with it and laughing. His reaction to the nose tickle was funny but I still immediately took it away because, well, ew. I will probably never tell him about it, unless I have a need to really embarass him at some poing.

I'm not sure what your parents were like or how adventurous they were, but as tiggle biddies said, there are metal balls that you rotate around in your hands a relaxation technique. I own a pair. They just look like quite large ben wa balls.

I don't have kids, but I found out that if I leave mine out they look a whole lot like cat toys. I guess my kitty likes the sound the weights make when she bats them around. I got a good laugh out of that the other day!

Well, if you have two spheres, you can spin them around in your hand. It's a comforting thing. Also, it's just something to do with your hands. Lots of Asian places will sell them with little chimes inside to sooth. Sooo.... maybe that's what your parents used them for? I know my dad has a set he keeps downstairs and will just randomly spin around as something to do.

And if not... I am so very, very sorry. We at Eden will do our best to help you recover from your trauma!
