We use a variety of wrist & ankle cuffs, blindfolds, spreader bars, stools, chairs, neck ties, door hanging cuffs, under the bed straps (attached to cuffs)

In addition to restraints we use; floggers, paddles (leather only), slappers, crops, tawse and a triple wartenburg wheel.

It really depends. Personally I just use rope for shibari purposes - I like to do ties that I've seen other people do. I also incorporate a bit of breath play into that, with a cloth covering my mouth/nose. It barely restricts breathing but you still feel like you can't get a full breath (while still breathing normally).

For intimacy: ROPE
Shibari and kinbaku when genuinely and engagingly done with a partner transcends simple restraining, and becomes so much more of a fufilling experience. Closeness, intimacy, excitement, trust, sensation and beauty that only accentuates the partner goes into it.

When a good, hard, rough and sexy power play time is desired; were talking filled with passion, lust, and a deep primal desire of pleasurable gratification, then retrains are the way to go. They offer quick set up, control, and thrill into the sexy scene.

For Fun: OTHER (Furniture)
St andrews crosses, spanking benches, spreaders and more (to me) are best enjoyed in a social setting. They offer liberation, a chance to be outgoing, and an opportunity for others to see them in action before deciding if they wish to try it or not. They also can be used for lovely passion, pleasure, and pain.

Anything is enjoyable though with 2 or more people truly enjoying themselves, keeping in mind safety, limits, and pleasure.
