So far, I haven't purchased any low rated toys on EF, but have you ever found any gems hidden beneath a pile of negative ratings and reviews? If so, what toy was it?

I tend to prefer a variety of jelly toys that seem to have less drag than silicone.

The silicone mini oscillator is a huge pain in the ass, but it can be a fun change of pace sometimes. It's not love, though. There's a cheap clit pump (Cal Exotics Mini Penetrating Pump) that works well enough, too, that as I recall has some horrid reviews. Both are from Cal Exotics, and while the first one deserves the bad reviews, I don't think the second one really does. People seem to buy those things expecting a far different experience than the toy is meant to deliver.
I know many reviewers have been underwhelmed by the Little Chroma, but I love mine above all other toys. It's hardly a diamond in the rough, though, with a $125 pricetag.

I actually really like my Blueberry Bliss, which seems to be a TOTAL hit or miss on here. Usually I tend to agree with a lot of the reviews, though.

No - I trust the reviewer community and there specific reviewers that have similar tastes that are very important. I avoid the low ranked products.

The Blueberry Bliss was one of my first toy purchases - wanted to try a waterproof dildo. I don't recall ever using it and after reading the comments here I need to look for it. Apparently I've been missing out! LOL
Other than a small handful of toys (I didn't want to spend much until I had an idea of what I liked) I stick to toys with high marks.
