Yeah mine get used pretty much right away. I LOVE toys and I can always find a good time for them pretty soon after they get to my home.

Actualy my toy time is my ME time really. I have 2 kids not in school yet, and I go to school full time. I Live in my in-laws house so I feel compelled to help out often. Just to take a bath and play with my toys is my time to relax and be by myself.

I guess for me it's just easier sometimes to grab the ones I'm already familiar with rather than face the learning curve of a new toy. I have three glass dildos, a couple of vibes, and some lubes that I've never used.

I have one glass dildo that I got when I tried to order something else (I ordered crystal-cut, it came as a spiral) and I spent like fully 3 weeks trying to decide if I wanted to return it yet.
I decided not to return it, but the sedentary inertia of me not using it (because I didn't want it to be destroyed if I decided to return it) has continued.
