To Eden contributors out there:

Do you use your real first/last name on your profiles and why? What about using a real profile picture?

To those who put up real information, I'm curious as to how/why?

I'm not ashamed or embarrassed of my affiliation with Eden. I currently use a pseudonym and stock profile pic, because I'm nervous someone I know will see my profile on here. It's embarrassing and scary to me to think someone like a boss can see this!
Just wondering how others feel about this issue!

Sort of hidden. I am Airen MoonWolf all over the net but that's my craft name not my given name. I wish I looked like my profile!

I use my first name only, but nothing else identifiable.

There's a bunch of Annemaries in the world, so, I'm not too concerned.

My avatar is a pic of me and I do include pics of lingerie in some reviews--from the neck down. I do use a different name--but one some know me by--but that is to protect my business reputation if someone were to find me on here that is from where I live.

Yes, my real name is Tim. As I do videos showing my face, you can guess I don't care to much about folks recognizing me. Quite frankly, I don't care what people think about my doings here or with sex toys, if they have a problem with it they can ask me about it. I'll be more than happy to learn them a thing or two.

Sorta hidden identity. The only clue is I'm a librarian. Most people know I'm very open about discussing sex and the like, so they'd probably figure out who I was if they ever came on here, but ultimately I don't need hassle at work, and the anonymity allows me to speak a bit more frankly.

I do not use my name here. I don't think I would have a problem with people knowing I am on here but there are things we talk about here that we do not let just anyone know we do. So I guess you would say I hide who I am here.

Sort of hidden, but if asked I usually don't mind giving at least my first name out on here. I don't use my face for profile pics for two reasons: one being that my blue two-piece heart is my personal symbol, and the other being that I don't photograph very well (I think I look lovely in the mirror, but I despise how I look in pictures).

Sort of hidden. My name is Melanie but my pic is not me and I don't have much other identifying info on my profile either. I'd like to stay hidden for many of the reasons listed above by others but mostly as ghalik said the internet never dies and I need to stay hidden. Sadly..

There's no way I'd be here under my real name, or use a picture, or let slip any information that could lead to my real name, or even to my identities in online gaming or fandom. I wish I could be more sex positive elsewhere, but I'm just too easily embarrassed, so other than expressing disapproval at slut shaming when I see it, I otherwise keep my mouth shut on sexual matters outside of EF.

I general and vague. I refuse to use my real name. I do use my real age, gender, and relationship stat thats it. I will not use a pic of myself or do a video where my face shows. I'm not ashamed however it could later come back on my kids.

I like the anonymity on the site, so you don't know it's me when you walk past me at the grocery store, or so when you come to the hospital and say "aren't you"? I don't have to lie. Besides If I ask a stupid question you don't know it's me.

The info in my profile about my age, sex, and location is real. People who have read my posts know that I have a husband. He's definitely real. The personal stories I have shared here are all real. The only things that are not real are my name and avatar (but that's pretty obvious, isn't it?).

Sangsara used to be my first name (born a hippie kid in the seventies) i changed it to something REALLY normal in 1990 that is still on my I.D.
Sangsara is now my middle name. I save it for people that know me well and Eden. everyone that knows me well has to listen to a ton of sex and sex toy talk, even my mom, and I only pursue endevours with openminded people anyway. call me naive but I'm not concerned. it's my real face in my avatar and if you've seen my videos you know that most of them show my very animated face and body from the chest up.

The information I do have here is real. I'm not really concerned about my own privacy, personally. But the site being what it is, I do tend to talk about my relationships, so my concerns for privacy are for them.

I do more embarrassing things on the internet; I don't consider Eden to be a very big deal. Roz is an internet handle and occasional real-life nickname. I don't post things that are exaggerated or untrue.

Re: bosses finding it: I've spent a good amount of time in previous jobs messing around on the internet, and every time, there was nobody within the company whose job it was to monitor internet activity. And in those cases, if nobody's getting paid to do it, nobody's gonna do it!
