I have been wanting to read it. I just haven't had the time.

I read a bit of the first book, and promptly stopped. It's crap.

I absolutely refuse.

I read all three books, found the first book ok, the second less so and then the third was just tedious to try and get through.

No, and I don't plan to.

No and I refuse as well. I did read the reviews, though.

Usually when I hear about a book or a series that "everybody" is reading, I want to get in on the fun. I jumped on the Hunger Games and Millennium bandwagons so fast I almost tipped the damn things over.
But with this trilogy, I just don't know. I'd kind of like to read one to see what all of the hype is about. I've heard that the plot is kind of stupid, which might not bother me so much. But I've also heard that the writing itself is atrocious, which [italics|will] bother me.
So all in all, I think I'm going to have to pass on this one.

My friend sent all three books to me and I have only got to chapter 8 that was like 3 months ago lol. I have not read anything since.

Never read it, refuse to read it.

I don't condone abuse trying to be masked as a BDSM relationship.

I read them all, but I'm not necessarily proud of it. Ha ha. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and I'm not sure why there was any fuss to begin with.

I read it, it wasn't worth the hype. I've read equally good free stories online.

I have been pushing myself to read them and have finished the first two. I think they're terrible! I'm reading them because I don't feel like I should complain about them without giving them a chance.

Those of you who didn't like it will probably not like to hear this but I read it at least 10 times cover to cover, all three books. That's not counting the more erotic sections I read a few times more.

Why? Call it fantasy and one I could really clench on. It used to be so easy to fantasy when I was younger, this book brought very real images to mind, very erotic images to mind while reading it.

As other commenters have noted, I've heard it's pretty bad. It's exciting that an erotica book is so mainstream, but it's disconcerting that the depictions of consent and the BDSM community are so awful.

No thanks! I like erotica, but I also like when it's well written?
