I refuse to buy any DVDs directed by Khan Tusion. This explains more eloquently than I could why: link

Unless Nestle starts making porn or sex toys (unlikely) I don't boycott any sex toy companies.

I boycott Nestle (and have for most of my life) because of their illegal and dangerous formula pushing in 3rd World countries, and all the babies who get sick, die and families who may spend 90% of their income on a product they don't needand their dishonest advertising campaigns, and their pushing products to people who simply don't need them (There is no such thing as a "Comfort Protein" never has been, never will be.)

I've never heard of this person. Have you ever seen any of his work? I'm only asking because the "voice" of the women interviewed in the article sounded alarmingly similar, as if the same person wrote it all. I'm not saying this guy isn't a sadistic jerk, but the article was written in a way as if someone had an ax to grind.

I can't make a snap decision on someone I've never heard of on one internet article, is all.

I don't find the voices to be similar are all especially considering the full interviews that she is quoting from are all linked in the article and it abundantly clear those are not close to the same person. You don't want to make a snap judgment based on one article, that is fine but I consider your making the point via unsubstantiated innuendo to be equally irresponsible. The women are clear quoited with links to the full articles which are are mainly from a series off interviews which can hardly be considered having an axe to grind against a particular person.

Have you ever seen any of his work?
Would you ask someone explaining sweetshop conditions if they ever worn jeans from the company? This is entirely the wrong question to ask. If the workers, are saying the working conditions are awful what different does it make weather you have seen the finished product? If even one of the multiple women quoted is accurate in their account of the working conditions then he is a sadistic jerk, the finished product is irreverent. and yes i have seen his work it is exactly as described and quite frankly you could take ten seconds to Google Meatholes and see for yourself instead of coming in here and asking irreverent question and spreading innuendo.

There's one company I avoid that seems to produce copy-cat products, in crummier materials (like jelly), of many popular products from well-respected brands. I don't want to be all pointing fingers in public, but a little research goes a long way.

I'm hardly "spreading innuendo" I just need more proof than one article to decide to boycott a company. (One that I have no desire to see anyway.)

My only reason for asking if anyone saw the work of this person was to know if his work is commonly seen, as I've never heard of him, nor seen any of his work. I honestly wouldn't judge anyone if they had, as most people DO decide to boycott something if they have already been a consumer. It makes no difference to me. I don't care for choking porn, so I have no desire to see his work.

I was simply trying to be a responsible consumer, I'm not one to do or not do something because of one article or one or two quotes or because someone simply tells me to.

It's no reason to get upset.

What do you call this then: "as if the same person wrote it all". Your implying fabrication with that statement. Needing more proof is one thing, implying the proof in front of you is fabricated is another.

"My only reason for asking if anyone saw the work of this person was to know if his work is commonly seen"

Your contradicting yourself in your oginal post you said:

"I'm only asking because the "voice" of the women interviewed in the article sounded alarmingly similar, as if the same person wrote it all....but the article was written in a way as if someone had an ax to grind."

These reasons which you both say are your only reason bear no relation to each other. In the first it is because you find the "voice" to be "alarmingly smiler" (Which again your telling me you can't see how that is implying the same person wrote it all?) How on earth does questioning the similarity of voice between performers translate into asking about how commonly a work is seen amongst consumers? Even then I don't see how commonly seen or not is relevant to your point about needing more proof. Is commonly seen a form of proof? Do we only boycott commonly seen assholes?

I've never boycotted really anything.. most things I like and care about normally work out themselves.
Now if Texas can stop being douchebags about birth control prices, I'll be just dandy!

Actually I have seen some of his work. I did a review for it on EF. (Here: link) I did the review **BEFORE** this post was made. I even noted that (in reference to the behind the scenes footage) "Not the ones that challenge you to think or bring light to gender or sexuality, but the ones that make you think they were uncomfortable on set. In fact, in one snippet the camera-man questions what one performer was doing in the bathroom and she says masturbating, and he made a really uncomfortable comment about asking why she didn’t invite him in. It looked like she was either disgusted, annoyed, or creeped out by him (or perhaps all three)."

Plus, multiple porn stars have talked out about him.

Plus! Epiphora (the post's author) is a pretty well known reviewer/blogger not a porn star.
