I love the new Send as Gift option.

But as soon as it went live, I thought "holy moly, my wishlists are tangled and outdated and I don't know if I even want some of the things that are on'em anymore!"

So sometime in the next few days, I'm going to make sure my lists are up to date.

Same, a lot of stuff on my list seems to not be available anymore. Ive been slowly cleaning it out. Checking every once in awhile. Ngh, my list is lacking anyways. I need to find some awesome stuff to add to it.

I love this new option, the awesomesauce flows greatly from EF!

Not really, I add and delete things all the time. One of mine has stuff that I like to keep in-stock, so to speak, lube and cleaner for example. The others I add to every now and then and remove stuff as I get it or I read a review that makes me reconsider.

Hopefully I can send some stuff to friends, I owe a few of them. I feel like a kid a X-mas too, just hoping to get something special out of the blue.

Mine are still private, as I'm nervous of thinking that making a public list would be taken as being presumptuous. Otherwise, I have a few things that I suspect aren't stocked anymore, but I'm hoping it's just temporary rather than discontinued.

actually going through them now and then making them all public. Mine are unorganized and crazy a ton of stuff to delete as well

If anyone ever saw mine it's crazy I have them divided into sections. I guess my organized personality spilled over onto the internet as well. I have categories for Lelo, massagers, bullets, lingerie, others told me to give a try, read on blogs about, etc.

Because I have lists of things I already own, I went and un-publicized them as soon as I saw the post so that no one would accidentally buy me something from my "toybox" or "closet" list. I still need to go through and clean up the other lists a bit - my dildos list alone has 123 items on it. Outrageous!

I think they can be 'public' as long as the 'gift registry' isn't on... at least I hope so? I like having a list of what I own be public...

Ooh, that's what I meant. The gift registry thing, you're totally right. I got confused because when you deactivate the gift registry, it automatically de-publicizes the list and you have to manually re-publicize it. Clearly the public part was what was stuck in my head while replying to your thread.

I have a lot of wishlists organized by type of item and I suck at keeping them organized. I add stuff all the time, but I never remember to go through and remove things I've already bought, things I don't want anymore, etc.

Nope, I'm not going through ALL my wishlists to clean them up due to the new feature.
I'm safe in knowing I'll never get a gift cause of the extreme shipping cost!

I kinda think it's a slight invasion of privacy airing everything we have in our wishlists. I'm NOT a fan.

PS.. In fact, I think I'll go make pretty much all my list private again. They are my business!

I wouldn't clean mine up just because the new feature as I doubt many people will just send gifts like that, but mine's always very tidy I get rid of things when I change my mind or when I actually buy it. lOl

i don't frequent the site enough to expect stuffs, and good thing cuz i stress when i have to gift back and of course would. I dint know there was a change in the wishlist feature other than them being more looked at maybe?? I like the opportunity for gift giving though!!!

The items on your wishlists can only be seen from the product pages if the wishlists are activated for giving, not if they're just public. You can leave them public to share the URL with people you trust, but unless you also activate the wishlist for gift giving, random people aren't going to be able to see what you've got on the list.
