I bought this toy a few months ago called the Violet Wonder. It is really simple (in my eyes) yet it was so complex as I stared at it online, so I had to buy it. Now, if you've seen my home collection, you'll wonder why the hell I like it so much. I have tons of crazy glass dildos. But I really fell in love with that dildo, and it's like my right hand girl.
Even though I've bought tons of toys since then, I still go back to the violet wonder. I bought Icicles No. 24, and I couldn't put it down for three days, but today I chose the violet wonder over it. I think this is because we get so accustomed to the way that the toy works, and we get too comfortable using only that toy.
My fiance really likes certain toys because they are easier to hold for him. No. 24 is all he wants to use for the last like 3 days. He likes the handle, and it makes it easier for him to thrust into me.
What I do, is make a mental schedule. I don't use one toy more than twice a week now. When I get a new toy, I make an exception so I can get to know it. i'll use it like 3 or 4 times. but I try to do that over the course of two days. That way I don't forget about my old toys.
They aren't so much like "friends" to me, but I don't want to have wasted my money. I do it with clothes too. I hate being a "Wedding Dress Shopper". Where I buy things to only use them once.
