Yes, many girls experiment with other women, even if they're not explicitly bisexual or lesbian in orientation. Though, that brings up a complex problem: What constitutes as straight? If a straight girl orgasms with another straight girl, does that mean they're bisexual or lesbian? It all depends on your definition of the word. I think most people will agree that a woman who enjoys men and tries once or twice to play with women and finds she simply enjoys men more and doesn't want to do it again is straight.

However, keep in mind there are a lot of "closeted" bisexual women out there who enjoy both genders but assume that, because they've MOSTLY been with men, they are automatically straight. One might say things like "I'm straight BUT I would definitely sleep with Ashley she's really hot " which again raises the question of what sexuality is defined by that attitude? Are they -really- straight girls playing with girls or are they bisexual women who haven't identified themselves as such?

This brings up a very interesting topic in the definition of sexuality, honestly when it comes down to it I think it's all up to the person and how they choose to identify, in my mind I hate labeling sexuality as anything at all because there are so many grey areas. I usually personally identify as bisexual when people ask because I think it makes it easiest for others to understand but in my own mind I hate the box that drops me into. Plus I've even had people question me because I'm in a long term monogamous relationship with a man and have never had sex with a woman (and probably never will) how can I be bisexual? I just prefer to think in my mind that I like people, simple as that, I enjoy sex, with pretty people, and I don't much care what they have in their pants, I guess pansexual would work for that too but I hate using that word and having to explain to everyone the difference between that and bisexuality every time they ask. Maybe one day I'll figure out a good label that sticks, until then I'll just be Becca.

Personally, I think that all girls are curious of what its like to be with another girl. I have only dated guys and been with guys, but there is one girl that I always come back too, so whether its just myself experimenting or not, I do not call myself straight, every girl is bi-curious.

i agree with bex1331 in the fact that what does a label really tell you? its just a way for people to judge you and what does it matter. although i am straight, My girlfriend has been curious and wanted to try things with another women she isn't bisexual she simply wants to have fun with new experiences.

I hate that labels have to so defined. I have had many more relationships with men than women, but it's not for lack of trying.. It just ends up working out better for me with men. Physically, I am more attracted to women. Can I not be Bi because of that? Or am I more lesbian than bi because physically I prefer women? I think that sexuality if too fluid for hard and fast labels. I mean, sometimes I lean one way or the other way more. I don't like others judging what goes on in my head.

Would you be considered straight if you do a lot of girl on girl stuff?
