Personally, I despise clutter. I can't handle it. Therefore, I routinely go through and recycle the things I don't use.
Too many toys?

I'm in the middle of packing to go back to school. Last year, I was able to fit everything into one FYN footlong and a Divine carry on, plus a little lingerie in the bottom of a suitcase. This year? I needed an entire largish duffel bag just for the toys. The flogger and restraints didn't fit, so they're in another bag. And in my purse I have my little Hide'N'Seek for the stuff I'm not going to wait 24 hours to see again.
Too many toys? Maybe, if I define "too many" as the threshold at which my parents get suspicious of what the heck I'm collecting...

I know you can recycle them and give them away. Who would you offer them to though? I know it may seem silly, but if you have toys you don't want that can be sanitized and you are going to toss them anyway, why not offer them up right? I just want to be sure my toys (even the ones I don't "prefer" end up somewhere decent. less

I have so many toys that yes a lot go unused for months at a time. But, I think you can never have too many toys.. I view it as a functional collection.

I'm one toy purchase away from not being able to fit everything I own into my toy box. Since there are still a few things I'd really like to try, I guess 'too many' will mean anything beyond the capacity of the second box.

I realized today that my silicone, glass, & metal (that can go in the dishwasher) filled the top rack. And that doesn't include everything else. I think I need another storage cabinet or two.

I have quite a collection of toys, but they all get used pretty equally. Some toys I have for specific purposes, and others I use for many different activities. I don't feel like my collection has outgrown what I realistically use.

So, I wonder if you have a balanced toy collection or if you have a lot of variation of the same toys that makes it hard to choose (OR if that is a good thing for you because you like variety).
My husband and I have a small collection that we're adding to and we know what we need to really make it a great collection. I just had a thought that a really large toy collection (with too many variations of the same toy used for the same purpose) could be a bit overwhelming.
