My first try was so painful. We continued to try after that and it was still terrible! Finally recently he was able to get all the way in and finish. It was still pretty uncomfortable and I couldn't get over the feeling of needing to use the bathroom. I want to love it, so we will keep trying

My first time was okay at best. I really didn't enjoy it with the person I was with at the time as he was too rough. For anal play I really believe that being "primed and prepped" is the best approach. The more turned on you are when you try it the more you may like it.
I love it now with Hubby. He takes his time and gets me ready so that by the time we do the deed it doesn't hurt at all.

The first time my SO and I attempted anal, we failed pretty badly. Even though we warmed up and used an astronomical amount of lube, things just wouldn't fit. Fortunately, it wasn't too painful for her--I went as slowly as possible and made sure she told me to back off at the first signs of pain--so we both decided to try again later. I'm pretty sure that the anticipation and stress of "the first time" was the source of that initial failure, since the second attempt worked out great for both of us!
