Using your toys with a new partner

Contributor: Kestrel Kestrel
Has anyone used their existing toys with a new partner? I'm referring to toys that can be thoroughly disinfected. Did you run into any issues?

Were there some materials that were more readily accepted by the new partner - for example, glass or steel vs. silicone?

I would think that what went over better would just depend on their personal preferences.

I also think it would have to do with that person's beliefs and the seriousness of both relationships. For example, I wouldn't personally want anything used on my that had been inside my partner's ex-wife. As long as they can be fully sterilized, it's more a mental thing than a physical thing. However, you did mention steel, and I think the partner *would* be able to get over that more quickly if it was a really expensive product that they knew would be hard to get a replacement of.

I have used a vibrator that is steel and a silicone pair of anal beads in 3 different relationships and honestly the women have never asked or shown any interest in knowing even though they all new I had the toys before we were together. I guess they just don't think about it and i don't bring it up.
