my first toy was a tantus atomic small.
platinum silicone, it was body-safe and yes, I still have it.
I still use it, too

My fist toy was a jelly waterproof vibrator. It lasted me 4 years and I just recently had to get rid of it because the jelly was separating from the base.

I voted plastic for my first vibrator, though I had previously tried a horrible jelly cock ring (tried being the operative word).

My first toy ever was a hot pink "realistic" jelly vibrator.

Don't know who made this particular one but kind of the 'standard-issue' slimline hard plastic vibe.

A horrible cheap Jelly vibe from a Fantasy party.... yuck.
This is why I will be so excited once EF starts the parties. It will be nice to have a party where you really believe in the products and can educate about the materials, care, and performance.

I received this plain vibe free with some porn dvds I ordered. It sucked and so did the porn.

My first vibe was a blue pocket rocket that is waterproof. I still have it, and it still works . I actually have a newer one in white, so I guess I would and did get another, though it was free with an order, so technically I didn't buy it. It is made of plastic, so still considered pretty safe.

My first toy was a pretty standard vibrator in hard plastic. I don't still have it anymore, because sadly it broke eventually. :/

My very first toy was a "life saver" plastic vibrator, it was a gag gift, and I was happy to get it!

I don't know. It was a realistic phallic vibe which smelled like artificial strawberry flavoring and a new shower curtain, and I would get hives if I put it in my mouth. So, I am guessing it had some latex in it. YUCK!

It developed a tear in the seam, and I didn't think it was big enough so we graduated to better quality toys quickly.

I think it's still at the bottom of a drawer, wrapped in My Man's old underwear.

The first toy I ever bought was a Doc Johnson harness and dildo set. The harness was made of clear PVC plastic (the discomfort from using that motivated my purchase for the SpareParts Joque) and the dildo was made of shiny, marbled, purple SilaGel. Eventually the dildo started peeling apart where the marble effect took place. I also realized I over payed by about $20 by buying it in a store! D:

Silicone, for my first actual sex toy. But I had this miniature baseball bat made of wood that I used before I bought toys

Mine was the typical hard plastic basic vibe that uses C batteries and has a dial base. I still love these types of vibes. Very powerful!

I enjoy using plastic toys. I find there the easiest to clean.

Auugh I just realized I answered wrong!!! The first toy I ever bought was a vibrating cock ring... I am assuming it was made of something like TPE/TPR.

Mine was the purple massager found on Eden, and it's made of plastic, although it's metallic looking.

OK I need to retract this
After some further reflection I realized it isn't possible that the cock ring was my first toy. It definitely came after the strap on. BUT I was a lot less disturbed by the material of the cock ring. I remember being worried it would feel too tight on my partner because it looked so small but it turns out that TPE stuff stretches a lot and doesn't try too hard to get back to its original shape. Unfortunately I lost it so I don't know how it holds up to time... my first toy definitely let me down after awhile.

My first official "vibrator" was an off-white, hard plastic slimline, the smallest one they had. It was $5-10, because I felt like it didn't make sense to spend lots of money on masturbation. It broke within a year, and I was dumb enough to replace it with a larger version of the same thing, which broke even more quickly.

But my REAL first vibrator was one of those battery powered "doodle pens" where you put in a AA battery and stick a colored pen in the tip and it makes you draw little circles. It vibrated just like a regular vibrator and looked like a kid's toy (because that's what it was), and it was free because it was a xmas gift. It was a funny shape and was definitely not made for insertion, but it was a great clitoral vibrator to use until I was old enough to buy a real vibrator, and it lasted a hell of a lot longer than the cheap vibrators I was buying when I was 18! I swear, if I hadn't had a vibrator when I was a teen, I would have been up to far more mischief with boys at a much younger age.

I don't own my first sex toy anymore, but only because it broke. It was plastic and non-porous, I even bought another one recently because I liked the first one so much.

There weren't any bad side affects and I still do consider the material to be pretty safe.

The first vibrator I ever used was an electric toothbrush. The first REAL one was Gigi. My dog ate her though, otherwise I'm sure she'd still be going strong. Gotta admit, I shed a few tears when I came home to that.

My first toy was a pink jelly vibrator. The end broke on it guess to much use. I still have it just don't have the heart to throw it away. Don't use it. Was showing it to a friend and she said it actually had mold growing in it GROSS!! I am now a much better informed buyer and user LOL!!

Oh god.... the frst sex toy i bought was terrible. It was a cheep hard plastic sex toy set from spencers. My best friend and I had snuck off in the mall and were so nervous both trying to buy our frist sex toy.... it was terrible... it was one of those moments where you think they are going to ID you and youll be embarassed in the line.... or embaressed at the back corner of the store with everyone looking at you and what you are looking at.... so we just kinda snuck back there... grabbed the frist thing we saw that looked somewhat interesting and quickly got to the cash regestir and out asap! LOL ohhh how times have changed....

My first toy was a Fleshlight so Super skin was the first material for me. I still have that Fleshlight but I've gotten some other Fleshlights since then which are better so it doesn't see much use.

My first vibe was plastic, a little plastic bullet. I bought a lot of other cheap plastic vibes, never any jelly toys though (thank goodness)
