What types of toys seem to work for others but not for you?

I've noticed through personal experience and through reading less than stellar reviews on popular toys, that not every wonderful 5 star toy works for everyone.

For me that would be buzzier types of vibrators, all of the Njoy steel toys that I've tried, and any stimulating types of lubricants.

So which ones just don't work for you?

It used to be gspot toys didn't work for me, but I just needed practice.

Warming anything is just not my thing even when others rave about it. I have only liked a few products with warming qualities.

Any clitoral vibrator with strong vibrations. I need mild ones. The kind that most reviewers say they can barely feel.

I still haven't found anything with vibrations I like internally. It just feels uncomfortable, not arousing or pleasurable.

Buzzy vibes. It doesn't matter how strong it is, surface level vibes do nothing for me. I literally cannot even objectively examine the vibration strength.

For me it seems to be the most expensive toys in my collection that don't agree with me. Ina, the Pure Wand and now Form 2. I wanted so badly to love these toys. Its just not to be.

Rabbit type vibrators seem to be a complete miss for me as well as slender probe type dildos. I like them well enough but they don't send me into the stratosphere quite like larger barreled or textured toys.

The Hitachi does very little for me. I generally like my vibrators very strong, so I can't quite figure out why this one rates as somewhere between "meh" and "keep that thing away from me."

I totally forgot about the Hitachi. I don't care for it either. Though we have found that it is a great massager for my husband's aches and pains.

Ina didn't work for me, either

Have not been able to find a rabbit vibe that satisfies me They are either weak when both modes are used together or the clit stim just doesn't hit me spot on.
On the the Pure Wand, I totally love it now but it did take some patience and practice.

I find toys with that high frequency buzzy type vibe end up making me numb more than anything else... it's not so much the strength of a vibe that is important but the type of vibrations. Unless it's a really weak toy. Unfortunately, the bCute was an example of a toy I found just too weak to be useful at all.

And the slender probe type toys are not for me either.

I think the real key to predicting if I will like a toy is to find a reviewer who has predictably matched my taste in toys and see what they think of a particular product before I buy it.
