For me, buying/reviewing/looki ng at/ect. sex toys is bit of an obsession. I always want to try out the newest toys and I am constantly looking at websites for new toys. What attracts you to sex toys? What drives you to try out a variety of toys to review?

For me, there is such a wide range and selection of toys that I want to try each and every type. All the colors and materials make me want to feel and play around with them. I also think the taboo nature of sex toys drives me to try them out and review them. Not to mention the stimulation and orgasms the can be achieved by toys. Especially with the new toys that are being manufactured today, more thought is going into how to make each toy more pleasurable and exciting.

I am intrigued by the idea of how it will work. Aesthetics are nice, but function is what gets me most.

And I agree, the newer products on the market seem to have anatomy in mind more than ever.

Me too! I swear, the engineer in me is itching to find out how each and every cool toy works.

Also, novelty turns my crank. Trying something new (sex toy or otherwise) draws me like crazy, and getting to babble on to an audience about the new stuff I try? Priceless. I love discussing my new (and not so new) sex gadgets.

Surprisingly I never considered the sex toys as taboo, and am always surprised if one of my friends don't have any. Poor them. They're really missing out on something.

I tend to be attracted more to trying new forms and textures as well as vibe patterns. I still have not found THE perfect toy that I may say I can't live without. I'm probably still searching for that, even if I enjoy the toys I have right now. I have a number of colorful toys from Fun Factory that keeps me happy, but... enough never seems to be enough. Just like I think that a ribbed toy in yellow silicone would fit in nicely in my toy box... it has yet to be found.

I do agree that the new toys coming out are really impressive by the way they try to be innovative, and sometimes makes me wonder if... they are really that good. That's where reviews come in handy.

By the looks of our collection - we too would qualify as obsessed. We've throw away almost as many as we have - and we have so many that most rarely get used.

But even though I've sacrificed a whole dresser drawer - about 3 feed wide to easily display the toys for easy pick'ns - we still love to try new toys - so we keep buying them!

I'd say a pretty harmless obsession compared to others I've seen!

You know, that's a very clever and practical question. Why are we so obsessed with sex toys? Why not art, or collectibles, or our pets? HAHA, I mean, I know that we love all of our other hobbies, but as reviewers we do each individually spend a lot of time on here!

I'm like you, I like to try out each type of toy, with each type of texture. I guess it's just my curiosity or something. It's fun being an Eden reviewer, and it pays off, for the points!

For me it's always how much it can improve my sex life with my partner... I think that's the only reason I have for it, but it's cool to see there are hardcore enthusiasts.

It's the shiny-ness factor for me. I love pretty shinies and vibrations. I also love the absolutely wicked feeling of sharing them with my guys.

Well, frankly sex is a hobby of mine, as well as a hobby of my girlfriend's, trying new things, new toys, new whatever is an interest we share. We're always looking for ways to improve our (admittedly already pretty awesome) sex life. We just love experimenting, and finding new things we love together.

The newer toys are not only better designed but safer as well - more silicone, glass, metal and hard plastic. Less rubber and unidentified chemical goo.

After seeing the Liberator ad's in Maxim's for a long time, I decided to see what my wife's reaction to it would be. We ordered the wedge and ramp, and we absolutely fell in love with the Liberator products. Since then, we have tried a bunch of dildos and a few vibrators, and after having found out about Eden, we have a lot more products to try that are sitting in the wish list. We just really enjoy exploring new things and having a really good sex life.
