I just got a new job and I am working up to 12 hours a day sometimes. I noticed that as my hours increase my sex drive plummets. Does this happen to you??

I normally have a pretty routine schedule that doesn't disrupt my sex drives. But when I have to travel a lot for work, or have to work a few long days, tiredness takes over and my drive plummets.

Female, working 40-ish hours a week (5 shifts of 8 hours). I'm not really sure if my work has an effect on my sex drive, since I started working before I was ever active, and the only time I've really taken off of work was to recover from having my son two years ago, during which sex was a no-no, and I wasn't even remotely interested in the first place.

I work long and hard days but I always have so I don't let it affect me.

Longer hours and added days definitely affect both mine and hubby's sex drives. We end up saving it for the weekend and then going crazy!! Pretty good plan for us though, since the kids are grown.

Unfortunately, if I've worked a lot of hours during the week, it kills my drive.
