Fashionistas, The by Evil Angel - review by eurydice

John Stagliano's Fashionistas is 4 hours and 40 minutes long. Even for a voyeur like myself, I'll admit that it seemed a daunting feat. So in preparation, I did my research and learned that Fashionistas is shot on film, the recipient of 10 AVN awards including Best Film, and is described as “hardcore meets S&M.” Okay. So that got me just a little interested.

I took 3 viewings to get through the entire thing, and it was worth it. The costuming alone made me squeal; latex dresses and catsuits and a spectacular bondage hood to name just a few. Likewise, the stars were totally hot! Taylor St. Clair's petulant poutiness, Rocco and his impressive 23 cm and of course, the sexually talented and eye poppingly flexible Belladonna.

Deep throating and ass worship are the main course, but each scene features a plethora of action and variety. Take toys for example. We're treated to juicers and dildos by Phallix Glass, a lovely bejewelled butt plug and more. Rocco pounds as many asses as he rims, fingers and enthusiastically tongue-fucks. There's cunt-licking and finger fucking and hardcore pussy sex too, oh my! Some of the marathon sex scenes ran a little long, but the great camera work and sweaty, vigorous, nasty action kept my fingers off of the fast forward button and otherwise enjoyably occupied.

Regarding the S&M, this film straddles middle ground. For a true kinkster, Fashionistas is more sexy imagery and entertainment than content. For the kink curious, you're in for a good hard ride with dominance and submission, switching, choking, smothering, hair pulling, spanking and fetish paraphernalia like clover clamps, crops and more. Oh, and lots and lots of rosy red, welted asses to keep your inner sadist or masochist hard, wet or both!

Evil Angel Productions did impressive work with this production. Sex and story intertwine smoothly and the cinematography and unique sets add realism and dimension. Even the soundtrack is enjoyable. The box set includes the Soundtrack, Disc 1, Disc 2 (most of the S&M), and the Extras Disc which includes additional special features and a convenient section containing a compilation of the fetish and sex scenes featured throughout the film.

As for what I didn't like? That would have to be the spitting. I mean, the sheer quantities of it! Great gobs of it rolling into assholes, cunts, spat onto cocks and into mouths. I'm also not totally into the kind of deep throating that results in audible gagging, streaming mascara and thick, viscous, ropy spit. Still, I confess that the bottom in me couldn't help but be just a little bit impressed by all that voracious cock gobbling.

Fashionistas may not be a Hollywood hit but it's a fine porn. The story is entertaining but not riveting, the acting is mediocre but not terrific. Although I might not watch this film in its entirety again, I imagine that the Extras disc and I will most likely be spending a little quality time together sometime soon!
