Disclaimer: I am a lover of queer art porn. I can be flexible about the meaning of queer. Queer, to me, can mean more that girl-on-girl and boy-on-boy. It can mean diversity in body shapes, sizes, genders, kinks, sex acts, et cetera. This element of my taste will certainly inform my review. But I will try my hardest to give a both objective and subjective review.

This movie is not queer. It was clearly made for a straight male audience, having all the classic symptoms of such a movie: traditionally attractive women prancing around in high heels, very few face shots of the men so that they are disembodied penises, showy girl-on-girl action with a lot of eye contact with the camera. I understand that this is exactly what many straight men like, and that straight men are the main consumers of porn. And for what it is, it is very high quality and has a lot of interesting moments.

On a more positive note, the cinematography is divine. The producer, Jack the Zipper, plays with light, color, and speed, to very interesting effect. The whole movie definitely has a kind of coked-up feel, which I think it what he was going for. The movie doesn'thave a plot, but the idea seems to be getting the Hollywood sex elite together for grimy hardcore sexytimes. The result is visually striking, and ethnically diverse, but so, so mainstream.

I implore you to decide for yourself if this film is for you. The uniform thin-limbed, long-haired troupe of sucking-and-fucking girls made this dyke nod off, and the only men whose face you see are Mr. Marcus and James Deen. The S&M was soft and contrived, except for the final scene, which was hot and scary for a while. Then it was just more disembodied penises. Let me give you a scene-by-scene breakdown, so you can decide for yourself:

The scenes have cute names:

Faith...Gotta Have It: This is a manic threesome between Mr. Marcus, Kimberly Kane and Faith Leon. These are three very attractive people, and they have a lot of energy between them. The lighting is very pale and blue and everyone seems really into it. The only thing I would complain about is that Kane and Leon, while having a lot of chemistry, only do the kind of showy, tongue-out-of-mouth bisexual-for-show stuff with each other, and don't really fuck each other or give each other orgasms.

Roxy Rules the World: This scene starts of with Mary Jane twirling around in a red shower space in 50s pinup gear. Then her mistress, Roxy Jezel comes in and dirty talks and canes her. This was one of my favorite scenes, although it still pales in comparison to real queer girl-girl porn, and BDSM porn. But it's a little of both and has fabulous camerawork.

Everyone Loves Stokely: This scene is interesting. It features Charlotte Stokely, doing something of a pose-y vogue dance, and then getting fucked by James Deen through the posts of a wrought-iron bed. This scene is really creepy and sexy, and I liked it, except for it is kind of low energy and neither of them seem that into it, which is weird. I've definitely seen James Deen seem way more enthusiastic.

Babyland: This is a rooftop scene between Kimberly Kane and Angel Baby. Kimberly Kane wears a hilarious mullet wig and a creepy vac-u-loc strap on. It is in black and white, and there is way too much eye contact with the camera for my taste. This is an ongoing problem with this movie. All the sex seems for show, and not for pleasure. A female orgasm doesn't ever seem to happen in any of the scenes.

Ride A Rock Horse: This is a weird cowboy interlude with a foursome and closeups of horses. It's pretty standard, blowjob-heavy, and features pretty much no face shots of the men. But, there are cowboy hats. And hay. Lots of hay.

Piston Sisters: This is a three girl threesome that has so much potential and ended up being really boring. Mary Jane sits on the couch with one thigh strap-on on each thigh, and I go, woohoo! But mostly they end up blowing the strap ons, and all facing the camera, and it becomes another lesbian-for-show scene. Still, I do like the Mistress-girl dynamic between Roxy and Mary Jane.

Fortune and Glory: This scene starts out so cool. Kimberly Kane is in this red-lit box covered with pornographic magazine clippings. Men are staring through these slots at her, and then they reach in and grab her. It's all in stop-motion, and it creepy an dizzying. Then it becomes a normal gloryhole scene, and I lose interest. If you really like blowjobs, this just might be the best scene ever, though.

Another thing worth mentioning is that this film has super-good music, kindof techno-pop and hard rock, that goes very well with the sex. Also, it comes in the fanciest DVD case I've ever seen for a porn. The special features have trailers, behind the scenes, and an extra scene between Faith Leon and Kimberly Kane, which is basically just extended play of the first scene.
