I dream of Jenna 2 by Vivid - review by Ansley

Packaging: 2 Disc Collector's Edition, Book Jacket with Flap (It looks like the flap on the outside was supposed to have adhesive dots for closure, but were never affixed to the package during production. The flap basically stays open no matter what you do. It can rip, snag or be torn when sliding in and out of line on the shelf).


Until I saw this abomination, I thought I was a huge Jenna Jameson fan. Evidently, I remember watching someone completely different. I have never seen such bad acting in my life. I know, it's porn – how great of an acting job does one expect? Well, better than this.


First off, let's talk dialogue. At one point, one of the actors says, “you can fake it for me baby." My jaw hit the floor. Who does that? Then Jenna and another male actor were having a conversation about diarrhea. There were also barely heard lines of, “I need a cigarette” that punctured the other dialogue at random times, usually while one of the female porn stars was trying to cum. It was…disjointed and just flat out bizarre.


The acting was atrocious. I felt like I was watching the high school freshman drama club play at being on Broadway. But, I wasn't. I was watching adult film stars act like five year-olds and talk potty business.


Plot…hmmm. Yeah, I guess there's a plot in there somewhere. Hell if I should know what it was because I couldn't follow half of what was going on in dialogue. The editing for this film is really incoherent.


The first actual sex act takes place 13:15 minutes in, with a double blowjob that lasts for literally four minutes. This shot then turns into a montage of clips of the actor fucking the two different chicks that were just blowing him. It just made no sense, there was no transition or segues from one act to another.


This was supposed to be a parody of I Dream of Jeannie, but I think ol' Jenna got a little confused and somehow thought she was a mix of Jeannie and Samantha from Bewitched. I get that parodies are supposed to be a little campy and silly, but this was way way over the top. There's an animated gerbil that flits from frame to frame on occasion for crying out loud!


I was so irritated and confused by everything that was happening and or not happening that I turned it off. I have tried several more times to watch this disc since receiving it yesterday and I find myself becoming more irritated, not less with each attempt at viewing.


If you can stand fast-forwarding to get to the close-ups, they're worth it. Keep the sound off and try not to pay attention to anything you see happening in the background if you want to be, ahem, productive while viewing this film. I really suggest looking at other titles and giving this one a pass. It's just not worth it.

Hated it! Two thumbs down from the naughty bits.

I tried to watch this on two different occasions after I wrote the initial review and I still can't stand it. Campy porn just isn't my thing I guess. If you're a huge Jenna Jameson fan it might be worth it for you, but it's probably my least favorite Jenna production out there.
