Bound by diamonds ball gag - gags discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by TitsMcScandal

Was very excited when I got the opportunity to review this ball gag. I am a fan of gags of all kinds. The packaging is okay. It is a flimsy cardboard box with a blond girl with the gag in only a bra. It isn't overly porn-y like some other pictures on toy boxes, but it isn't discreet. I also wouldn't recommend storage with this box because it probably wouldn't hold up long.

The ball gag is in a plastic bag inside the box and I could smell the gag through the plastic. It was sort of disappointing, because something that goes in your mouth and is so close to your nose shouldn't smell THAT bad. Also, the gag doesn't come off of the holder, which made washing a bit more of a pain because I didn't want to soak the straps. The straps are made of the same polyester cloth that backpack straps are made of. So they CAN be soaked, but would take a while to dry. I managed to clean the gag alone, but the smell was still there.

The ball itself is made of a clear PVC. This is one of the major things that I had issue with. Not the material, but the fact that it is clear. You can see how on the inside they cut out the part to put the strap through. It isn't clean and smooth, it's jagged and when you move the ball gag little bits of PVC come off. I wish that the gag was opaque so you couldn't see that the inside wasn't smooth.

The gag also has a seam that you can feel when it is inside your mouth. It also has raised lettering that says 'CHINA' that you can also feel when it is in your mouth.

You close the ball gag with a cinch closure. It is easy enough to operate, but also not so good because there is nothing there for quick release. I think this is another one of the major flaws.

However, for me, the biggest thing is that this doesn't even fit me properly. You would figure with the cinch closure that it would fit ALL sized heads. Wrong. Apparently my head is too small for this. The circumference of my head is ~10-11 inches. The rhinestones get in the way of closing the gag any further than ~12 inch circumference.

The gag itself if 1.75'. It's not an extremely large gag, I was able to fit it in my mouth easily. However, it is not the smallest gag out there, so you may not be able to fit this easily if you have a smaller mouth.

Originally I would have thought I would recommend this for a beginner due to simple design. It looks nice enough to introduce into the bedroom for some kinky fun, but really I can't recommend this to anyone. It doesn't have quick release, so I couldn't with clear conscious recommend this to a beginner. It is simple and not the best made, so I couldn't recommend it to an advanced user. It's really sad because I really want to like this!

I ended up throwing this out eventually because it just was awful. The smell and taste just couldn't be overlooked. I know that the price is what really attracts people to this, but please, save up a few more dollars and go with something that is of a higher quality. It is going in your mouth, and is right next to your nose, you don't want something that reeks. Trust me. I tried washing, airing it out, everything, nothing worked. At some point the amount of effort I was putting into it wasn't worth it.
