If you're looking for a more affordable pen to just drop into your little gift bag of goodies for whatever bachelorette or gag party you happen to be hosting, these little pens are a great choice.

The packaging is almost a little over the top. Not horribly, but rather than have all 8 pieces splayed on display, they could have had them all packaged in something smaller that took up less space. Either way, they have a stamp that says that they are "bachelorette party tested and approved."

These aren't regular sized pens, being only about 4" long including the little clip, that does actually hold fairly well if you slide it over the top of a piece of paper or something. It's not industrial by any means and will break if you're forceful, but it doesn't seem too cheaply made. Some people might have a harder time writing with these if they're hands are a little bigger.

There's no actions or anything overly fun involved with these. They're erect penises with a bookmark style clip on the top. The blue ink does flow out very nicely, and I keep one of these in a pocket in my purse as a backup for just in case. If it lives out in the body of your purse, you'll almost definitely lose the clip itself relatively quickly, but the outer part of the clip setup should stay intact.

I did test them each individually, and the only problems I could really find with their functionality was the fact that since they don't come with caps and don't retract into themselves, they do have a tendency to dry out a little bit on the first use after whatever storage they've been doing. The routine 'scribble until it works' seems to work every time with them.

At $5 for 8 of these, that actually write very well, I think these would be a great addition to any bachelorette party. They'll fit very easily into any goody bag you happen to end up with, and they'll make a great backup pen for when you can't find anything else.

I busted these and a few other things out at Denny's one night, and my friends and I spent about 20 minutes or so playing with everything. The consensus among them on these were that for 8, it was worth the 5 bucks. We'll be playing with these at Denny's for a while.

I put one of these in the delivery vehicle at work, and wouldn't you know it? The pens stopped disappearing, lol. In the cold weather, being left in the car overnight and all that jazz, these don't work so well until they're thawed back out. But I still like them for gag gifts and have given a few of the individual pens away as such.
