Crystal jellies butt plug junior is one of the smallest and more beginner friendly plugs available on the market. The gradual flare maxes out at only a width across, and the plug provides only four inches that can be inserted into the body.
The most common use for this plug would be as a means of preparing the anus for a larger object by allowing for easier lubrication. Another use for those who only occasionally enjoy anal stimulation is using the product as it is actually intended. Those who have already experienced and regularly participate in anal play might find this plug unacceptable and almost annoying due to its tendency to fall out regardless of activity.
The size can also present a hazard for consistent anal use due to the flare on the bottom being proportional to the overall size and therefore easily pushed completely into the anus. Though it does come handy as a secondary plug if a larger one seems to be too small. Another advantage of the tiny size is that it can easily be inserted with another toy to help gradually stretch the muscles.
Made of Jelly so please be aware of cleaning and storage conditions for this toy.
The Jelly material has a natural odor to it, and the material does not allow for the most hygienic experience. The toy itself though remains relatively rigid, even made of jelly, due to its tiny stature. The stiffness can play against it as it can slip and squirt from your fingers. The material works well for extended use only when using silicone lube. The use of water lube is not recommended if you plan on leaving it in place as your body absorbs the water base and it can snag or feel stuck in there causing an unpleasant feeling.
On a grander scale, I believe the design is flawless. The gradual slope allows you to ease onto the plug at your own pace. As the product currently sits, I feel that it is much too small. The 1" thickness is quickly and easily accommodated by even a virgin anus, and the body quickly adjusts to the mild sensation. Save your money if you have any anal experience at all as you will rapidly outgrow this toy.
Its small length and width does come at an advantage as it is easily concealed and can quickly be moved, inserted or packed. It also has less of an area to keep clean. I still have mine for the sole reason of adding a little extra to any toy that I'm currently using or as a way to stretch out if I'm increasing in size. Other than those reasons, I recommend against buying this as I did and save your money.
On a side note, I was not able to successfully merge this toy with any other to somehow increase its value or worth in bed to me. *Modification of toys is not recommended and can be harmful if a mistake is made."
I really can't say that there is anything good about this toy, but its best feature in my eyes is the ability to supplement another toy by adding a little girth. It does not contain a suction cup for solo play and its size really doesn't provide a good handhold or stimulation in solo play. I will note that the toy is durable and has not deformed or caused injury to me in any way.
The toy is made of jelly and therefore any maintenance to the toy (as pertaining to cleaning and storage) should follow the recommendations of the manufacturer. General care for a jelly toy is washing in warm water (not boiling) and cleaning with a toy cleaner. Storage should be a cool dark place to prevent discoloration of the rubber and keeping the smell bearable. I suggest silicone lube for all products that are safe to use with as the lubrication lasts much longer than water based and will not dry out.
Beyond an absolute beginner, I don't advise spending the money on the product. Its usefulness coupled with the assumed cons of the material is a rip-off considering it's $12.
