The Booty Call Booty Player by California Exotics is a versatile, vibrating toy. With its flared base it can be used for anal fun, or snuggle its pronounced head up to your G spot for vibin' fun! The Booty Call is made of Pure Silicone. The toy is very smooth and soft, without being grabby. It is firm enough to allow for easy insertion, but has some give to it; a certain suppleness. It has a VERY faint odor and no discernible taste. Yes, I tasted it! The Cal Ex web site says this about the materials, "Silicone (probe) ABS with Silver Plating (décor ring) ABS with PU Cote (cap)". So, it is mostly silicone, except where it isn't! There is a nubby base for added stimulation. The base is soft and flexible.

The Booty Call Booty Player is shaped like a torpedo, kind of. Or maybe it's like a dart. No, I guess it's shaped something like - hmmmm, I'm not really sure! It's 5 1/2 " overall length, with about 4 1/4" insertable length. The large head is shaped like a spade from a deck of cards and is 1 1/2" at its widest. The first bulb is just about two inches long. This narrows to a sort (3/4") neck with three texture rings. The toy then expand to a smaller, more spherical bulb about 1 3/8" across. Then there is the base which is approximately 2" x 1 1/2" of flexible, nubbed silicone. The end is similar in size and shape to the smaller, second bulb and has the on/off and vibration selection switch built into the end. This part unscrews to allow battery (One AAA battery) to be installed. When screwed on tight the toy is waterproof. This looks like a purple sex toy and nothing else! Keep this away from prying eyes, unless you feel like telling a really bad lie.

So, how is the Booty Call vibe? Does it perform well? Would I buy another if this one broke? Sadly the answer to both of these questions is no. We used the vibe on a recent night, and while my wife "kind of" liked it, it didn't perform like a champ. She likes vibes for clit stimulation, rather than penetration, so the toy, with its 10 vibe modes had plenty of choices to offer. However, it was sorely lacking in power. Period. I tried it anally and found the same result. Meh.

Silicone is a very forgiving material in terms of care. Soap and water will take care of most issues. Toy cleaner can certainly be used with fine results. Oil-based and water-based lubes are safe to use with this and modern silicone toys are generally compatible with higher end silicone lubes. The ad copy on the package does recommend using only water-based lubes. So, if you're the kind of person who always has to follow all the rules, just use water-based lubes and rest well at night. This little gem is an incredible dust/dirt/hair magnet!! Clean before and after every use so you don't get grit where grit doesn't belong.
