Vito - butt plug discontinued by Feelztoys - review by Boxers Over Briefs

Vito falls into the same grade as Bootie and Bob Pleasure Object: small silicone butt plugs. Vito has a pointed 1" diameter head that tapers down to a very slim approximately 1/4" diameter neck and ends in a cute little swirl that looks like a tail wrapped around a ball. In considering the diminutive size, whimsical tail, and pointed head, it's not hard to conclude that Vito was designed to be as non-threatening to the anal freshman as possible; one might even call it "cute."

This is clearly a starter plug, but not all starter plugs are made equal. I would recommend the Vito over other plugs for someone just starting to experiment with anal play for the following reasons: it's made of silicone, it stays in place well, it's cute and nonthreatening, and the sensations are mild. Silicone is the way to go for ease of cleaning and durability, and any silicone toy will last for a super long time if you take proper care of it. This means no silicone based lubes or using it as a door stop.

If you need to clean it, which is advisable, you can put it in the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap, use a 10% bleach solution, or boil it. This material also transfers vibrations amazingly well, which adds another dimension to any silicone toy's use. It is my humble opinion that any silicone toy owner is not using their toy to its fullest potential if they don't press a bullet vibrator to it every once in a while.

The non-threatening appearance of Vito is reflected in the non-threatening sensations it provides. I would never hesitate to say that this toy is meant for very light anal play. The small size makes it hardly noticeable at all and its light weight doesn't serve to give it much presence in the ass either. The most notable sensations are at the anus and between the cheeks where Vito provides you with a friendly reminder that you have an anus, and it feels good when you put things in it. My favorite aspect, however, is an excellent little sensation caused by the long flexible neck of the plug twisting back and forth in my anus as the head rolls between my cheeks with each step. This feeling surprised me, but I was quite delighted by it.

In the realm of negative qualities, I was a little bothered by the pointy head. I could definitely tell how pointed it was as I inserted it and it jabbed me once or twice before it was where it needed to be. The insertion process was also somewhat hindered by a complete lack of support from the neck. You will have to hold it by the head and guide it almost all the way in before you can use the neck to push it the rest of the way.

All in all, I think the best adjective for Vito is "mild." The toy is barely there and is only really noticeable during movement. I think this is a good introductory plug for someone who wants to start slow and ease in to the idea of a butt plug. Vito is also good for someone with a little more experience, but wants some variety and might need to have a "butt plug lite" every once in a while.
