Dicky - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Carrie Ann

I received my latest sex toy for review, Dicky, and immediately started giggling. Dicky is an anal plug by Doc Johnson and part of the Sex Bubbles collection; an absolutely apt title for the collection as my first impression was that Dicky was one happy, bubbly little toy. I kept expecting him to bounce!

Dicky is a vivid red color and truly a pleasure to look at with his realistic penis head design.  The head is slightly thick; enticingly like a real, well endowed cock. So enticing that I didn't bother to use lube; I just popped it in my mouth and sucked a bit until it was slippery enough to insert. Even orally, it was a wonderful little thing; much like teasing the head of a man's penis with its soft yet firm texture. (It did have a slightly odd scent and taste but this was lessened by washing it well with soap and water before use)

Dicky slid in nicely and felt, yet again, wonderfully realistic. For the anal aficionados out there, it's amazingly like the head of a cock popping in - often the best part about anal sex. Normally, I would slide a butt plug in and leave it there, moving on to other stimulation while I enjoyed the feeling of fullness. Dicky is different. I was utterly compelled to fuck myself with it for quite a while before leaving him wedged in there.

There isn't much of a flare/taper compared to most anal plugs but, upon use, it was sufficient to keep it in place. I really can't rave about this toy enough.

I love this toy. I love the color. I love the size. I love the texture and consistency of it. I love the happy way it looks sitting on my bedside table, almost beckoning me with its bubbly appearance. I loved the way it felt going in, loved the way it felt coming out, loved the way it felt staying in. I even loved the slightly odd scent and taste it has - though some might not.  I really, really cannot wait to use this one with my partner for some DP action!

Dicky is made of Sil-a-gel so it's semi-porous though supposedly antibacterial. I don't share my toys so I don't worry about a condom but for extra safety you may want to use one. I've used both water based and silicone lube on this toy with no issues and it cleans well after either with antibacterial soap and water - even the crevices.

I still love the size and shape of this plug but find, with age, it's started to feel a little stingy when I use it. Not sure if it's the sili-gel material but no matter what lube I use the toy has become a bit uncomfortable. A shame, because I loved, loved, loved it when it was new.
