This is supposed to be an anal toy, but can also be used for G-spot stimulation. It is made out of glass, so if it is being used for vaginal stimulation, be sure that you are careful in case you cause bruising to the cervix. Also, be sure to use it with lube for anal penetration. I don't recommend it for beginners. I am a beginner when it comes to anal, and when I tried to insert it, it was too girthy for me, so I sterilized it and used it vaginally.
Be sure to sterilize it if you want to use it for both vaginal and anal use. It is made out of glass, so it is not porous at all, but it's very important to clean it before using it in another orifice.

It is made out of pyrex (borosilicate) glass which is completely safe. For example if you somehow break it, it would not shatter into a million pieces. But if you do notice a chip in it, I recommend that you discontinue use.

I think that it SHOULD be travel safe. Just make sure to pack it tightly in a padded carrying case, or something of the like (I have to travel soon, so I'll do another review talking about whether or not it broke).
It is not very discreet, so be sure to keep it in your toy box (although I do at times use it as a paper weight).

This is a good toy. I am not using it for its original purpose, but it still gets the job done.
I like the texture, and the fact that the glass is very clean and smooth.
There are a few quirky imperfections, but I like that. If you need your toys to be perfectly symmetrical, this is not the toy for you.

This is a glass toy, so where you store it is important. I keep it in my toy box, but I don't have many things banging around there. If you do, I recommend getting a padded pouch for it.
I just clean it with wipes before and after use, and it is clean as a whistle. It should be boilable (only for a short period of time. It's glass after all) but I haven't boiled it just because I don't boil any of my toys.
You can also use a mild soap and water, or soak it in a bleach solution.

With glass, you can use all lubes. I used it with a water based lube, and it was great for me.

I wouldn't give this as a gift because the packaging was very showy.
The pictures on the packaging weren't crass or anything, but it was very clearly a sex toy.
I threw away the packaging when I got it (which I'm kicking myself about now because I could have used it for travel) but I don't think it can be used very well for storage if you use it frequently.
