The Steel Pearls are a string of anal beads which are intended for anal use, but can most definitely be used vaginally as well. These beads are best manipulated via the ring attached, and as such are anal safe. Users will not have to worry about "losing" them as this retrieval ring is large and easy to grip onto, without the worry of it becoming lodged inside of you. These balls can bruise however, so it's best to refrain from vigorous thrusting when played with, and should not be used in conjunction with another glass or steel toy while playing. No matter if you're flying solo or with a partner, these beads are a sure-fire way to get you going.

The beads can be used in the shower, the bedroom, or wherever else the user desires. This toy is best left to intermediate to advanced users however, and a beginner should work their way up to these beads when they've had a little more experience with similar toys. Users will not want to travel with these, as they are heavy, stand out, and cannot be confused with anything other than anal beads.

As the name implies these Steel Pearls are made from high-grade, non-porous, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Users who have issues with allergic reactions to other materials, will not have to worry about having a reaction to these anal beads, and they are the perfect choice for people who have sensitivities to scents or flavors as well. The material rates a 10/10 on the Eden safety scale, and is completely body-safe for all users. Cold to the touch, these steel beads will warm to the body's natural heat, or can be warmed up in a bowl of warm water. On the contrary, if users enjoy the cold sensation, these beads can be cooled down in an ice bath too.

Never put the beads in the microwave or freezer, as extreme temperatures will cause damage to tissues and result in an ER trip. Safe temperature play really adds to the stimulation and experience of these beads, so experiment until you find something you enjoy. These beads do not have texture, however the contrast of large and smaller beads adds to the experience of this toy overall. Advanced users will enjoy these beads the most, as beginners may find these beads a little more than they can handle for a first use. Each bead is smooth, round and firm, as you'd expect from steel.

These are designed like any other strand of anal beads, but with the exception of one detail. While most anal beads come in a string of singular beads with space between them, this strands larger beads divided with smaller beads in between making up the "string". This ergonomic design makes for an interesting feeling, and adds to the overall experience as well as the comfort of inserting them. Beneath this strand of beads, there is a braided wire running throughout, and at the end of the braided wire there is a screw on end. The final bead in this strand screws onto this screw.

On the other end of the beads, there is the retrieval ring, which is large enough that users won't need to worry of it becoming lodged or getting pulled inside of them while in use. Overall the size of the larger beads are about 3/4" in diameter, and the length of the strand including the retrieval ring is a little over 14" in length with a little over 13" of that insertable. The strand is about the length of most forearms.

These beads are great, but there is one downside we found and worried about throughout our use. When twisted, we found that the ball at the end of the beads unscrews a little too easily for our comfort. One may be able to remedy this by gluing the ball into place on the screw, but we found that as long as we didn't twist the beads by the retrieval ring while inserted, this wasn't an issue. No user wants a ball from an anal bead lodged up there for an ER trip, and so we took extra care when playing with these. We found that the best way to use these was tugging on the ring so that each bead popped out in turn.

Each pop of the beads makes for a toe-curling sensation, and when added with a little temperature play, makes for some great ways to cool off or heat things up. We put these in a bath of ice water for our preference, and my partner loved when I pushed each larger bead inside of her. She would giggle and say it felt like ice cubes, and how it felt really nice in comparison to her stinging backside which I'd used a paddle on beforehand. When pulled out slowly after some clitoral stimulation, she gushed and moaned with each slow tug. We have not tried these vaginally, but I'm sure with the temperature play it's going to be a hit with that too.

While this toy is completely body-safe and non-porous, there are some things about it that are high maintenance and tricky. These beads will need to be boiled whenever used. There is no getting around having to boil these, due to the cracks and crevices that bodily fluids can seep into when using these beads. Each bead is hollow, and bodily fluids get stuck in the recesses of this toy easily. You can do a quick clean with warm, soapy water, but to deep and thoroughly cleanse these beads, they will need to be boiled for up to three minutes in a pot fully submerged.

While you may also be able to run these beads through the top rack of your dishwasher without detergent, you may still wish to boil them to be sure that they have been rid of all of the gunk, whether lubricant or fluids. I'd recommend investing in a large pot that can be used purely for toys so that you're not cross-contaminating with your food. Once they've been boiled, carefully remove them from the boiling water and allow to cool and dry thoroughly before storing them. Once users are sure that the beads are dry, they can be stored in the pouch and Ziploc bag provided with the toy. Store these in a cool, dry area.

These beads can be used with whatever lubricant the user would like (water, oil, silicone based) but just be sure if using other toys in conjunction with the beads that they are also compatible with whatever lubricant you use.
