Cogito Ergo cum (I think therefore I cum)

The Ergo is a silicone-coated prostate massager, useful for beginners or advanced users. It is well-made. It will enhance erections and orgasms as well as offering an option for strengthening Kegels. With practice, it can lead to hands-free orgasms for the lucky few, but most of us will fall short of that.

Use

The Ergo prostate massager is in the similar style as the Aneros and Janus line of prostate massagers. They are designed to be worn during masturbation or sex, or in the case of the lucky few with highly sensitive prostates a Super-O/Hands-free orgasm. In these reported events, men can have body convulsing, multi-orgasmic, almost black out extended orgasms, without ejaculation that can last from minutes to hours. But don't get your hopes up too high. While the internet has many elaborate claims of such experiences, it is not the case for every (most) user. Not all men's prostates are created equal or the same distance from the anus though, so experiences vary, and it can reportedly take years of "trying" and frustration to reach that first super-o (the equivalent of multi-orgasmic squirting in women you could say). The secret to such pleasures seems to be in not "trying" and just relaxing and letting it happen. Easier said than done. It helps to have been trained in Kegels and re-wiring your body. Many also claim to abstain for a week or two in order to achieve this, so that is something I'm not willing to do myself, but I still derive prostate pleasure on a frequent basis, even if not "hands-free" prostate-only orgasm, so I highly recommend using toys this way.

Utopian orgasms aside, prostate stimulation and wearable P-spot massagers can help regular men achieve much better, intense orgasms and stronger ejaculations, with a more body-centered experience.

You do not need to manipulate the Ergo. Just relax, lube, insert it and go about your business and enjoy.

The idea is to let your natural (conscious and unconscious) anal/pc contractions & relaxations alternately draw the toy in and let it slide out repeatedly. This produces some nice gentle stimulation against the prostate, which in turn sends tingles up and down your spine and around your genital area, resulting in an intense release eventually.

Material / Texture

The material is silicone and has no noticeable odor. It is nonporous and easy to care for since it can be sterilized properly. The Ergo is firm and rigid but has an exterior silicone coating. Silicone inherently has some drag, but using a good amount of water-based lube will reduce any negative sensations associated with that. The handle is plastic.

There are contours on the back of the head and some textured ridges on the front side and a rounded bulb that rests against your prostate (hopefully!)

It's recommended to use water-based lube with silicone toys.

Design / Shape / Size

The Ergo is ~4" in length overall (3" insertable). It is 1" in diameter at the maximum width. It is solid plastic, with a coating of textured silicone and the body has some contours to it. It is curved to ergonomically hit your prostate. There are contours to stimulate the anal wall as well. To be honest, though, it doesn't feel anywhere near as thick as 1" in use due to the unique curved shape.

The Ergo is small enough to travel with discreetly for sure and being plastic/silicone won't set off any alarm bells. It can easily fit in a small bag, overnight kit or pocket.

The design is kind of futuristic and whimsical. The curled handle reminds me of a genie bottle and is functional.

The handle is sturdy plastic and fits between your cheeks and aids insertion and removal for you or your partner doing the insertion. Overall a nice looking toy and seems to have some good thought and intention in the design.

Performance

The Ergo slides in with little or no resistance using a generous amount of water-based lube. It slides right in place and stays in. It will stimulate your prostate when you hit a strong arousal point, but otherwise, you will may/may not really notice it is there unless you contract your PC muscles.

The device stays put when inserted as it should and will move to stimulate your prostate with muscle contractions/relaxations. A generous amount of a good solid water-based lube will aid the process. It's always a good idea to evacuate and/or douche the rectum prior to use for best results.

The lack of girth may be an issue for those liking a fuller feeling or a larger area on the prostate. For me, it did stimulate me and felt good. It moved back and forth over my prostate as intended.

Care and Maintenance

The Silicone is easy to clean and can be sterilized with 10% bleach solution, soaking in a cup of boiling water, or with antibacterial soap and/or toy cleaner.

You can store in a plastic bag or a cloth pouch if you want to keep dust and lint from sticking to the anti-shock.

It has no power or moving parts, so it can be used in the shower, pool, tub or any location without fear of damage.

You may need to scrub more carefully to clean the grooved/textured areas or just soak in a bleach solution. You could stick it in the top rack of the dishwasher too, but that is more trouble than is necessary.
