Is there such a thing as too many anal toys? I think not. But I have a lot of plugs, both vibrating and non, and thought it might be fun to try beads. I thought the Sensual Citrus Beads from Emma’s Passion Garden (by California Exotics) sounded like fun, so I ordered a set to use with my main squeeze.

When the beads arrived, they were the brightest lime green color I’ve ever seen (they also come in yellow - lemons, anyone?). They were packaged in easy-to-open plastic. The toy didn’t smell at all, which is always a plus. The beads in this case looked like limes, with the bumpiness of limes, and were super-cute.

Each lime is about 1 1/2” long, and only a bit over 1” wide at its widest. These limes are spaced out on the 9” of insertable length, and are connected together by the same type of material, so there’s no string to worry about cleaning. They very gradually get larger. At the end of the toy is a large lime-colored ring so the toy can be pulled out with ease. The toy is very flexible and stretchy.

The Sensual Citrus Beads are made out of TPR Silicone, and are phthalates-free. They should be cleaned before and after each use with an antibacterial soap and water (don’t boil or put in the dishwasher!). Since these can't be sterilized, don't share them. Be careful when cleaning – because the beads are made to look like limes they have little dimples that need to be cleaned out with care. Water-based lubricants are the best for TPR toys.

The beads looked really long, and really floppy to me. I thought I would try these out alone first. I wasn’t sure I could take 9” in my ass, and I wondered how easily they would go in since they were so much softer than my regular anal toys. I needn’t have worried. The beads went in easily, and each slipped right in. They felt good going in, and there was no problem inserting them all the way to the ring. Nine inches in my ass – I was surprised! Because they’re flexible, the beads move with you, so it wasn't uncomfortable to move around at all.

The beads stayed in with no problem, and didn’t slip out once. I used an egg to bring myself to orgasm, and pulled on the ring right when I was ready to cum. The beads felt good coming out as well, and added a great sensation to my orgasm! I've used these by myself several times, and I love them. Next I am going to try these with my husband - I think he’ll enjoy putting them in my ass as well.

These beads are a great anal toy. Even though they’re quite long, they are not wide and would be perfect for the anal beginner who wants to try beads. Recommended!

These beads have held up well. My only real complaint with them is that they can be hard to clean due to the texture. I wish they could be cleaned in the dishwasher! Unfortunately they can't be, so they get a good cleaning with a brush after use.

I'd love to have another set like this with the fruits a little larger, and not so textured. The color is fabulous, and I love the sensation as they're pulled out. I would still recommend these to anyone unfamiliar with using anal beads as a good toy to start with.
