Glo Pop Was A No Pop

This toy is intended to be an anal plug. Due to it's small size, it's very friendly for beginners but completely useless for vaginal play. Anyone who is interested in anal play should enjoy this toy, and it would be great for easing people into anal play. I don't think the toy could really be used to stimulate any other areas due to it's porous material.

When I first opened the toy, I was surprised to find no odor what-so-ever, which isn't something I expected from a PVC toy. When used with a water-based lube, the PVC texture doesn't really make a difference for texture. Because it isn't silicone, it is necessary to use a toy cover or condom if you plan on sharing this toy or using it in multiple orifices. After I first used the toy, I washed it with soap and water and found it to have a rather strong odor. I washed it multiple times thinking perhaps I hadn't cleaned it properly, but it still has a very strong plastic odor.

Personally, I find it's best to just use water based lube (who remembers which of their toys are pure silicone and which aren't!?) and it's a safer bet you won't accidentally ruin any of your favorite toys. When used with lube, there isn't really much of a texture when inserted. It's just a standard smooth feeling.

Like most anal toys, this toy features a flared base to prevent it form becoming completely internal. The toy has a stem and then a bulbous tip. The entire toy is a quite small (2 insertable inches). The circumference of the largest part (the bulbous tip) of 3.75 inches. As someone who has never done anal play before, I found the size to be quite non-intimidating.

The toy does manage to be quite cute due to it's bright neon color (I have the yellow one).

This is actually my first foray into anal play, and I was a bit nervous. Other than one night of having someone put their finger up there (boy was I taken aback by that!), I've never done any sort of anal play. I was really scared that it would hurt or feel incredibly strange. I slopped on a bunch of water based lube and while I found maybe a half second of slight discomfort initially inserting it, once it was partially in, you'll find the toys pulls itself the rest of it in quite easily.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed by the size. While it was easy to insert and didn't scare me away, once I had it in, I didn't really feel it all that much. There wasn't much feeling of fullness. As a beginner to anal, I think that it would be way to small for anyone with much experience.

The toys does have several speeds (from a very low stength to the highest strength), though I find it difficult to switch between them during use. You control the functions by a twist dial at the bottom of the toy. However, it's difficult to twist it while using it. If you twist it far enough, you can see the battery compartment. The toy was very quiet, however, I found that the vibrations weren't strong enough for me even as a beginner.

I personally have a preference for deep rumblies, but I found this toy had very light, buzzy vibes. While I could feel them they didn't really seem to go very deep. Even at the highest setting, I found the intensity of the vibrations underwhelming. However, I am a bit prejudiced against buzzy vibes. It's quite possible that someone who likes buzzy vibes would find this toy quite pleasurable.

The toy is quite low maintenance: just wash it with some soapy water. Because of it's small size, storage is a snap. Just put it just about anywhere.

The packaging is really cute, with a black box with neon writing. The box kind of reminds me of the "U by Kotex" thing where it's really bright and trying really hard to be 'fun'. Nonetheless, I do think it's quite cute. THe actual toy is stored in the box between 2 plastic inserts. While the box isn't discreet (it says the word vibrator) it is so cute that I would gladly give it as a gift due to it's stylish storage and actual toy.

As someone who is new to anal play, I found the size and shape of this toy to be very non-intimidating and friendly. However, the actual vibrations were too weak for me to get much of an effect and after the first use, I found the toy had an extremely strong plastic odor that wouldn't go away. WHile it's far from perfect, due to it's low price and size, I would recommend this toy those who are curious about trying anal play for the first time. I'm probably going to continue to use this toy until I get more comfortable with anal play and begin expanding to other, more specific to my preferences toys. This is a good intro to anal vibrating plug.
