Good toy for a Beginner!

The dotted delight is a simple, yet effective toy that beginners looking for penetrative orgasms will enjoy. Being made of silicone, allows for easy use, cleaning and maintenance. Its medium-sized design (not too big, not too small) is very good at giving satisfying orgasms.

Use

The dotted delight is a silicone dildo that can be used vaginally, but due to it's flared base, it can also be used anally (though I have personally not tried it.) It's a relatively simple toy with very little gimmicks in terms of design or usage. Except for the bumps near the base, it's completely smooth with a slight swelling at the tip to simulate a head. It's made of silicone, so it warms up to the body quickly, has a nice level of squishiness and is super easy to wash.

This was actually the first dildo (vibrating or otherwise) that I had ever purchased. Prior to the dotted delight, I had primarily masturbated with vibrators and clitoral simulators, so trying to figure out what sort of penetrative toy that I wanted to use was rather intimidating. I found this one and I can assure it's a great toy for penetrative orgasm beginners and veterans alike!

It has a fair thickness, neither too thin to feel satisfied but not too thick to be unable to get it inside. The bumps offer a fair bit of stimulation as well. Overall, I feel like the dotted delight was a very satisfying toy. It does come with two bullet vibrators meant to be inserted into a little pocket near the base of the toy. Although I would never suggest using this toy solely for the vibrators, since the strength doesn't actually compare to a toy who has that as a main function. I definitely think that the vibrators are a nice addition! For beginners without another vibrator, it helps relax you considerably if you're intimidated by masturbating with a penetrative toy (like I was.)

Material / Texture

The dotted delight is entirely made of silicone, one of the best materials that you can ask for with a sex toy. Outside of the two small bullet vibrators that it comes with, that's it--just pure, semi-smooth silicone goodness. Most of the dotted delight is entirely smooth with a little bit of squish to it, but there are small "dimensional dots" along the base of the shaft, which do add some extra level of stimulation.

Design / Shape / Size

Its overall design is very simple; just a slight swell at the tip and the dots near the base. It's an extremely friendly toy for beginners due to its relative smoothness and medium size (with a diameter of 1 1/2 inches and a usable length of 6 inches.)

The dotted delight is also compatible with suction cup harnesses, as there is a hole in the base to attach it to (though I was unable to test that out myself.) When I had first purchased it, I did somehow manage to get one of the vibrators stuck in the hole meant for the harness (as I was quite ignorant,) and it did take me quite a while to get it out; if anything, I call that a fair testament to the suction-harness strength!

If you're looking for a discreet toy though, you might have to pass up this one. Despite its simple, smooth design, it's quite obvious for what it is. But as part of your non-mobile sex toy collection? It's lovely!

Performance

Overall the dotted delight performed very well for a mostly non-vibrating dildo. It has a nice, slight curve designed to hit the g-spot during vaginal penetration, and I think it did that job very well!
    • Easy to use
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

Due to the fact that it's made entirely of silicone, the dotted delight is very, very easy to clean with either sex toy cleaner or soap and water. I don't know if it's safe in any other cleaning form, such as a dishwasher, but the former two options were fairly quick and easy enough since I didn't have to worry about any intricate pieces.

Due to it being silicone though, make sure that any lubricant that you use is SAFE FOR SILICONE TOYS. Otherwise, ensure that you store the toy so that it's not touching other silicone toys, as they will slowly fuse together.

Personal comments

I think that the dotted delight, for a mostly non-vibrating toy, is a wonderful choice for beginners and experts alike. It was easy to use, easy to clean, rather unintimidating, and a fair price for what it is.
