These anal beads happen to be the first anal beads I've ever used. In the past I've tried similar toys but nothing quite prepared me for the feel of beads separated by small lengths of string/cord/thin PVC substance. These anal beads are small, just smaller than the size of a grape, and all the same size.
At first I thought this would be disappointing. I'm used to gradually increasing the size of the toy, to increase how much it stretches me out and how much I feel it. These beads didn't disappoint though, since each bead feels just as good as the last, whether it's going in or out. You feel that same little exhilarating kick of pleasure all the way down the string.
My other thoughts on first opening this, was surprise at how the PVC of the beads felt. I expected something hard and plastic. As it turns out it was rather soft and squishy around the outside, with a hard center to the bead; like a marble covered in viscous KY, I would imagine.
On one hand, this does make for an interesting sensation once lubricated. On the other hand, it takes a bit more effort to lubricate than most toys, as the pliable surface is also quite porous. This makes the toy slightly more difficult to clean than others, and slightly harder to lubricate, but for me is not a serious deterrent.
My favorite part about this toy is that it's big enough to feel inside you, but small enough to carry around discreetly (I brought mine through customs to another country with no questions asked). It can also be worn around the inside of you very easily. The length of the string is enough to let your ass suck the beads in and hold them there.
If you like playing with sex toys in public, or under your clothes, this is one I would highly recommend. It continues to feel amazing inside of you as you walk around, sit through meetings, run laps around a track, or whatever you feel like doing with it.
The whole toy feels sturdy and well built. The string is a tough, thick, material and the beads are directly attached in place on the string. I personally like them attached so they don't all bunch up at one end, and it makes the toy feel more reliable. The ring on the end is strong, and can take a lot of abuse without making me feel like it will break off. This is one of the most important things I was worried about with a toy like this.

@Lauren, Mamastoys: The string on this one is actually really simple to clean since it's directly attached and made of a thick material. It's not hard to clean because of any real hard to reach spots when cleaning, just because normal cleaning isn't as effective as it is on other toys.
@Mamastoys: I've found that this feels very solid. Much more than I would have expected just by looking at it.
@purple_foxglove: I have been at anal for a while, but in a few months I'm going to introduce my girlfriend to it with this toy and post a follow up review. If you want the experience of a newcomer, check back in a while.
