The Bubble Butt Pluggy by Doc Johnson is simple to use; a dab of water based lube and some patience to slide it in and you are ready to go. This plug can be used for thrusting as it is soft enough that it should not cause any damage. That being said it is short enough that thrusting is difficult. We prefer to use it as a simple plug during vaginal penetration. This does have a flared base but the portion above the base is not real flared so it is harder to get the plug to stay in. This plug makes a great beginner toy as it is soft, short, and has a round head as to not intimidate. It can be used solo or with a partner.

This plug is made of PVC which only rates a 2 on the Eden's Safety Scale. PVC is latex free and phalates free. There is no texture on this plug which makes it very smooth. It is soft and pliable, with just the right amount of firmness to it. I did not notice any odor to this toy upon opening the package.

The plug has a round, bubble top and it slightly flared. It measures 3 1/2 inches in length and has a circumference of 4 1/2 inches, it weighs a mere 4.8 ounces. I felt the size to be a good one for a warm up session which I think would make it perfect for a beginner. Being more advanced it is still a great fill and helps work up to the bigger sizes. This is in no way realistic or discreet.

This plug is just right in size and weight to be worn for extended times or for double penetration. I wish it more of a flare before the base though as it takes a while to get it in the right spot to stay put. This plug is waterproof and is a great bathtime accessory.

PVC is porus so extra care should be used when cleaning it. It should be washed as soon as possible after use with warm water and anitbacterial soap and/or a reliable toy cleaner. We store ours in a plastic bag, as we do most of our toys. You can use water or silicone based lubes with this plug with no worries.
