Men's pleasure wand XL - prostate massager by Doc Johnson - review by MusicJunkieXL

Great tool for prostate beginners

This is a good toy for people new to prostate play. More advanced users will want something that doesn't slip out so easy, and is capable of delivering harder vibrations.
Great for new users, waterproof, moderately quiet vibration noise, really easy to clean.
Vibration could be stronger, vibration on the testicles is very weak, has a tendency to slip out.

This is perhaps the perfect toy for the man|Men's pleasure wand XL wanting to explore prostate play. The gradually larger circles at the tip are good for slow penetration. It has some girth, but not enough to be excessive, even for newbies. Regardless though, newbies will want to take their first few experiences with this toy slowly. And for those using toys with their partner, the ring at the end of the toy is very strong, well built, and perfect for partner play. The shape is nearly perfect for a prostate massager|Prostate massagers, and the vibrations on the taint and testicles add a little extra something to the experience. These vibrations are somewhat weak, but still noticeable. Perhaps in a future version they'll add another bullet in this area.

Those more experienced with prostate play may find this toy inadequate. The vibration is average, and it has a bad tendency to slip out. If you sit on the toy however, you'll be rewarded by stopping its tendency to slip out, and greatly increasing the pressure it places on the prostate. The girth is probably not sufficient either for experienced prostate players. For experienced people, I highly recommend instead the Deluxe Wonder Plug.

I recommend when you use this toy, that you start with low vibration, and ramp up as you approach orgasm. After orgasm, don't simply turn it off and pull it out. Slowly ramp down the vibrations again. It eliminates the awkward feeling you sometimes feel after anal play, and leaves you with an all-over good feeling.

Regardless of whether you're a newbie or experienced person when it comes to playing with your prostate, the fact that this toy is waterproof is a big big plus, especially for cleaning. This is perhaps the easiest toy to clean that I have -- even easier to clean than silicon toys I own.
I highly recommend using this toy while sitting down. It stops the toy's tendency to slip out, and puts pressure in a much more firm way on the prostate. Also, start with low vibration and ramp up as you approach orgasm. After you orgasm, slowly ramp down again. It will lessen the awkwardness a newbie feels when playing with their prostate, and leaves you with an all over good feeling.

I would guess that its shape is part of the reason why it wants to work its way out.
When you say sitting on it keeps it from slipping out, do you mean a reclined position, or on a really soft surface? It seems like the handle might make it difficult to actually sit on.
The TPR Silicone might seem easier to clean than silicone, but it cannot be sterilized like silicone, so no sharing and it is semi-porous, so it could harbor bacteria.
    Thanks for the review.
  • Like Jimbo mentioned, it's still porous, even if it does seem easy to clean. Does the battery controller unplug from the toy itself (that would be a nice feature)? Also, how long is the cord- did it get in your way?

Does it have a squishy texture? Was it floppy, firm, or stiff to insert? My husband has been slowly by slowly working his way up to a prostate my massager and I want to help him find the right one.
