The Package
The Colt comes in a clear plastic container, that probably wouldn't work well as a container. It's a couple inches too big for that. There is a small card near the top that gives you some background info on the Colt. Such as it being waterproof, where it's made, etc.

The Toy
Where to begin? This is definitely a power tool for men. Though I'm sure some ladies would curl their toes for it as well. You get 7-8 inches of insertable toy. The entry is tapered, given that this is made for men as an anal plaything. Then comes a smooth shaft, followed by a series of ripples that run to the base.

Two C batteries are required, that is what gives the Colt it's power. It is waterproof, so you can play with it in the tub or shower if you like. To control it, there is a little dial at the base that you can twist to go from low to high.

The Functionality
There aren't any vibrational patterns here. Just a setting of low-to-high for power. Preferably I just cranked mine up to high. The vibrations are definitely more powerful than anything I've reviewed up to this point.

There is a bit of a hassle with the cap going on, to make contact with the batteries. It took a couple light smacks from my palm to get the motor going. Be careful when first putting the batteries in, as I found a folded slip of paper in the shaft, describing how to open it and insert the batteries. This doesn't include the round piece of cardboard that is meant to stay inside the toy.

Cleaning and Lube
While I originally thought this was silicone, according to the card, the base is made of ABS, while the shaft is made from ABS with something called a PU Cote. Whatever it is, it is smooth and velvety to the touch. Cleaning should be done after usage, and since no real instructions were given, the best I can say is to use soap and water with a cloth.

For lube, it does say to go with water-based. Given the ripples, and where it is meant to be used, you really want a good coating of lubricant from the entry to the base. Whatever is going to be inserted, to help it come out as clean as it goes in.

My Thoughts
Personally, for the price, I think this is a really good toy. It's not that heavy, and it's very efficient at getting the job done. After smearing on some of the Please cream I reviewed a while back, I found that if I left it immobile inside me, with the vibrations going, it felt as if it was warming up.

The noise level can be a bit much. It's best to check your play area to make sure anyone else in the house isn't going to be listening in and know what you are doing. One helpful thing I've found is to have the TV on, to help add some background noise and block out the vibrator motor.
