The Ophoria a-chain is a chain of 6 different sized anal beads from Lover's Choice, Inc.. The beads are meant to be used anally by men or women of any experience level.

The a-chain is made entirely out of silicone. This makes the toy pliable and very body safe. The Ophoria a-chain is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous, and Phthalates free, as the EF site states. I didn't notice any particular smell on the toy. The texture is smooth, almost rubbery, but not sticking to everything like jelly or some other materials. It doesn't attract too much dust or hair, but I still recommend always rinsing off a toy before use and cleaning it after.

The Ophoria a-chain has 6 different sized beads, starting from the size of about a kernel of corn, up to an inch wide. It comes in 3 bright colors - pink, blue, and purple. The beads should be good for users of all levels. The small beads at the beginning make this chain a nice starter toy for those that haven't tried anal beads before. The insertable length of these beads is 7.5 inches.

The Ophoria chain is an interesting little toy. At the end, by the biggest bulb, is a ring so that a user can easily hold onto the toy while using it; however, please note that this ring is also silicone, and can bend relatively easily. This means the ring could slip in if a user is not careful or holding the ring. The beads are quite a bit smaller than some out there, making this a great beginner's set of anal beads. To insert the beads, I found the best thing to do is grab the smallest bead and really help aim it in. The beads get pretty slippery when all lubed up, and holding a bead further down the chain just made the whole thing wiggle around and not go where I wanted it to.

Usually, I just wash this toy with warm water and soap. If you plan on sharing, this toy can go right in the dishwasher or a pot of boiling water to be sterilized. There is no storage bag that comes with this chain, so I recommend making one or buying one to store this. It is compatible with all lubes except for silicone.

This was my first experience with anal beads, and honestly, I found the Ophoria a-chain to be a little too small to really do much as far as enjoyment. The tiny bead at the beginning was just awkward to insert because it kept bending and twisting. Once inserted, the feeling of the beads was interesting, but didn't put me even near the edge of orgasm. This may be a better toy for those that are really sensitive to anal toys.
