American Bombshell little boy - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by MrWill

The American Bombshell Little Boy, by Doc Johnson, is a new introduction into the field of anal artillery. The American Bombshell line as a whole is named (quite aptly, I might add) after different armaments for the military. The Little Boy in particular is a well designed anal plug that can inspire shock and awe in even the most seasoned anal advocates.

I think this toy is commendably suited for anyone looking for a damn comfortable anal toy, though the girth may be too much for most. Ladies, this delectable deviation should also work vaginally (and I can only imagine how it would feel bumping against your g-spot).

The American Bombshells line as a whole is made entirely out of smooth phthalates-free PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride). PVC does have a very pool toy-esque scent, and this behemoth from Doc Johnson is no different. PVC is rated at 2 on the Eden safety scale.

This little boy features a silky smooth texture, and some wonderful contours. The material is by far one of the most comfy I have tried anally, but I do wish it were made of a safer material (Doc Johnson, look into some squishy silicone formulations!) The texture and flexibility/give of the material lend themselves to more of a beginner oriented toy, but the overall size is not to be taken lightly (or easily).

The design of the Doc Johnson American Bombshell Little Boy is nothing short of wonderful. It is quite large, and features a neck that is longer than what I've seen on most plugs; this simple fact makes the comfort level while wearing the plug outstanding. I love the size, though I personally think it would be wise for Doc Johnson to also looking into making some smaller (and even larger.. I mean come on, what is the Little Boy without a Fat Man to accompany him?) so that everyone can give this line a shot.

As for size specifics:

One feature that I found to be more of a novelty with this toy is the base. The base works wonderfully as a suction cup, but I think that could have been skipped in honor of the more common (and comfortable) T-shaped base that is found on a lot of other plugs.


I wouldn't personally recommend traveling with this particular plug, as it is both bulky and smelly.

The suction cup on this baby will definitely hold it somewhere, but I found that the floppiness of the toy as a whole really impeded use of the suction cup. I love that Little Boy is soft but still fulfilling, and the unique shape where the "plug" portion meets the neck really holds it in nicely, especially if you are paying attention to your ass at all.

This thing is amazingly simple to care for, and you can use your choice of water or silicone based lubes. I would be careful with any petroleum based lubes, but food oils (coconut, olive, and vegetable oils) would probably be perfectly fine. I've not been particularly caring in my storage of the Little Boy... he tends to get tossed where ever as I'd rather have him laying in the floor than touching my more expensive toys and possibly causing some sort of reaction.

As far as cleaning goes, I've found that a quick wipe down with whatever wipes are close and the occasional super cleaning with antibacterial soap are more than enough.

I feel the Little Boy was overpackaged in the usual DJ clamshell packaging. The plastic extended about 4 inches past the length of the toy, which in turn required a large box to ship in. As is usual with most of Doc Johnson's unmotorized toys there was no instruction sheet to be seen (but I find instructions to be rather silly with a toy of this size and with it's intended use). The packaging is definitely recyclable, or you could just trash it like I did.
