The Lucid dream No. 18 reminds me of a vibrating bowling pin.

The lucid dream is a vibrating probe. I did not order it with that in mind. I enjoy toys that can be used in more ways than one way. The lucid dream comes in this clear box, with some writing one it. The writing has a little information about the toy and its functions. The box is fully see-through so giving this, for a gift would not be ideal for gift giving. Maybe giving it to a close friend, it would not be a problem.
When you revive the lucid dream No. 18 the first thing you notice is the smell. I do not know if mine smelled worse because it was sitting on the hot delivery truck.


When I opened it up, you are hit with this smell. It is an extremely strong smell. It was the normal jelly smell but intensified because it was hot! That was the most awful thing I've smelled all week. Once it reached room temperature and cooled down. The smell was not even nearly as severe when I first opened it. It still did have a smell. It can be a problem for people who are sensitive to smell. If you are, maybe this is not the toy for you. It took about 24 hours of sitting out for the smell to die down.

The lucid dream can be used as a traditional vibrator. That is what my intended use for this toy was. I did not realize until I got it home that it was a vibrating anal probe. Because, it is an anal probe you can use it anally during solo use or with the help of a partner. Although, I did try it anally, I enjoyed it way more virginally. The vibrations were better felt that why compared to using it anally.

The lucid dream is made up of jelly and has no texture what so ever. When using it either anally, or vaginally, you can only use water and silicone lubricants. It is jelly you should wash it before and after every single use. When sharing it between partners, you should always use a condom. Jelly is not the safest of the bunch, but most people like it because it comes in so many colors. The lucid dream is fully waterproof, so you can take it into the shower or bath. When washing, you can fully submerge it if you like. Cleaning you can use mild soap and water. You can also use your favorite toy cleaner.

The lucid dream is controlled operated. It runs on two double A batteries. The lucid dream is connected to a control by a 5-7 inch cord. The controller is the same color as the toy. The controller can be operated by two buttons one pointing in up direction and the other in the down. The up direction increases the vibrations and the down button decreases it. The lucid dream only has one setting. The controller of the lucid dream is not waterproof. I say this because it does not have the protective O-ring around the base. So you can put the toy into the water but not the control.



The sources of the vibrations come from an uncommonly large bullet that is placed in the middle of the toy. Although, it is in the middle of the toy the vibrations are not evenly distributed. The vibrations more mostly felt through the shorter of the two sides. Why is it this way? I have no idea. I personally would have liked for the vibrations to be evenly felt through both endings.


Storing the lucid dream could be a problem. There are not pouches long enough to accommodate the size of the lucid dream. You could use the original case as storage. I would not store the lucid dream with other toys because it has a tendency to melt with other materials. This would be one I would and do house alone. The size of the toy does make it suitable for beginners, and those who are new to anal play or just want a double ended vibrator. Traveling with the lucid dream may cause for some problem. The large size could cause you to have to work more than you would like. The lucid dream is a stay at home toy.
