Lucid Dreams No. 18 review.
If you're looking for clitoral stimulation, this is where it's at. If you're seeking vaginal/g-spot stimulation, this may not be the toy for you.

Pros
Flexible, variable vibration speeds, material helps carry out stronger vibrations.
Cons
Too short.
Normally when I'm scoping the market for a new toy, I always tend to gravitate towards fingertip and/or clitoral vibes. This time, I thought I'd stray from the usual suspects and go for a new type of toy. While at the local adult novelty store, I noticed an entire display of Doc Johnson toys that happened to be on sale. 25% off certainly sounded enticing! I couldn't pass up the opportunity inspect the rack more closely.
As I browsed the rack for potential purchases, I felt pretty confident. I had heard quite a bit of positive feedback about the Doc Johnson line itself. Upon further investigation, I noticed that many of the toys were made out of a jelly like material. This was good news for me because I'm typically very picky about material. For me, the more flexible, the better.
I kept perusing the rack but, somehow found myself coming back to Lucid Dream No. 18 over and over again. There was just something about it that I couldn't resist. Before I knew it, I was the excited owner of this spectacular looking toy. Unfortunately for me, it laid untouched for about a week after the purchase due to "feminine reasons". Though, all the while I dreamed about using my new toy!
When I was FINALLY able to use it, at first, I was not disappointed. I loved the fact that it had adjustable vibration settings. I was also impressed by the strength of the vibrations. The sensation of the jelly-esque material on my hot button was incredible. I trembled with anticipation to explore it further. I kept imaging how awesome it was going to feel inside of me.
Shortly after insertion, I was blindsided with utter shock and dissatisfaction. But, I pressed on anyway... hoping that my unexpected disappointment was only fleeting. I even tried letting my boyfriend pilot it to no avail. Suffice it to say, my misfortune was eminent! The insertable end was not nearly long enough and I did not even come close to a much needed orgasm. Instead, I reverted back to clitoral stimulation and I was finally able to orgasm. It is FAR more pleasing externally then internally. The jelly material carried out the vibrations stronger than any hard plastic vibe I have.
Even though I was initially let down, I'm not ready to count it out just yet. Generally, I do not seek any anal pleasure but, perhaps that is where this toy will shine.

This one was too short and small for me too, but hey, its inexpensive and pretty right? What will you try next?

Precisely! I loooooved the color of it. I guess it'll just take some getting used to. Well, I'd love to try the Lily clitoral vibrator next but, it's a bit out my price range. Dial-a-dream #46 looks like it'll be worth while and it's much more affordable. (:

This toy was long enough... It sounds like neither of you tried to insert the toy to its full potential. I inserted it past the large bulb anally so the large bulb was pounding against the inside of the anal wall and it was amazing! I didn't have much luck with it vaginally either but hell it is an anal toy...

Well, like I said in the review, I don't really seek anal pleasure with any of my toys... I haven't crossed that bridge yet. I do plan to use it again. I'm slightly hesitant to use it by myself. I'm hoping my boyfriend would be so kind as to help me the next time I use it. After I use it again, I will write a follow up and document any changes I see/feel. Thank you for your comment.

In my experience and it seems from everyone else's, the Lucid Dream line is one to definitely stay away from.
