May be a little too basic
This is a nice plug for someone very new to anal play. There are some design issues that may cause some frustration and you may want to graduate to a larger plug sooner than later. Overall, the basic anal plug should get you started down the road to anal bliss.

Pros
Easy to use
Cons
Poor design
The name of this toy says it all. It is basic. It is for anal play. It will plug your back end. There are some things I really liked about the basic anal plug and a couple I did not.
First, let's talk about packaging. It came in a nondescript box and was packaged in a sealed plastic bag. I would recommend giving it a quick wash when you get it. Right off the back I could see an issue with the design. This plug has been hollowed out so you can add a bullet vibe. The hole also works as a kind of handle. This makes the neck of this toy not much smaller than the rest of the insertable part. The tapered design makes the plug easy to insert but hard to keep in, due to the wide neck, with out keeping a hand on it. The last thing you want is a lubricated butt plug shooting acrossed your bedroom.
Next I checked out the material. It is made from TPR which looks and feels nice but is not as body safe as silicone. I would recommend using a condom on this plug if you plan on sharing it. You can use any lubricant with TPR. As always with anal play, do not be stingy with the lube. The anus is not self lubricating.
My experience with the basic anal plug was just okay. As I said before, it was easy to insert. It does make you feel a little full and if you add a bullet it feels nice. It is not really long enough or the right shape to hit the prostate. The wide neck of this toy does make it hard to keep in. I had to keep a hand on it during play. This is not a big deal if you are using this plug to get you ready for a larger plug or anal sex. Definitely don't plan on this plug staying in all on it's own.
If you are new to anal pleasure this plug is not a bad place to start.

Basic just does not do it for me anymore. My ass has developed expensive tastes. It moved on the bigger toys. The Basic anal plug moved on.
