These anal beads were in my VERY FIRST order from Eden. This was far before I knew what toy safety and quality were like I do today. I rediscovered them today and have decided it is time they were laid to rest. When I discovered this site, it was because I knew I was interested in anal play. My first sex toy, was this tiny guy, that I bought at a local Spencer's Novelty store. That didn't interest me as much as my first tiny anal plug did. I went in search of other anal toys I could experiment with. I found these anal beads and thought I'd give them a try. Looking back, these are pitiful compared to the rest of my collection. They are made of a less than ideal material and are of a less than safe design. But...I loved them! If you are a beginner looked into exploring anal play, I recommend finding an anal toy this size and length. But, if you can, get a better material and a toy that has a retrieval ring.

While the material for these anal beads is listed as jelly, it really feels more like a rubber. It is very firm and isn't as sticky as most jelly toys I have encountered. It smells much more like rubber too. The smell is not that noticeable. Jelly or rubber, it is still extremely porous which is not a quality you want for an anal toy, or any toy for that matter. The material has barely any give. Plus, the mold wasn't very good. There are hangups in the material that can feel sharp when inserted or pulled out. With time, the material only becomes harder and more uncomfortable. An upside is that this material barely collects lint and the like.

There are four beads to this string, but only three are safely insertable. The first is 1/2" in diameter, then 5/8" for the second, 3/4" for the third, and finally, 7/8" for the last. There is 7/8" of space between each bead which I found to be a good amount. The entire string is 6" long. After the last bead, there is a string of 7/8" in length before it ends in a small bead of 1/4" wide. This last bead is so not safe to be left with the responsibility of keeping the rest of the string from being sucked up your ass. This is why only 3 of the 4 beads are safely insertable. For a beginner, that is plenty.

While this was my first string of anal beads, I thought they were the shit. I loved inserting them and then leaving them there while I played with my clit or nipples. These never produced a mess for me. This is probably due to their length. Regardless, they can be cleaned with warm water and soap, though never sterilized. I would never recommend sharing these since a condom doesn't work well. To store, you can't use the package since it can't be kept. Use a plastic bag instead. Keep these away from other similar materials. They will cause melting if they touch other jelly.

The packaging is dispensable. More or less, the beads are shrink wrapped to a cardboard backing with a picture of a naked back on it. The package is not informative at all.

So...RIP my little friend. You were loved, but now I know much better. You are not very safe for me!
