Nice Probe

The AP is definitely a good anal toy to try out on. It may be a little intimidating for beginners, but once you are used to it you will find it definitely can hold it's own against some of the big boys. The vibrations and patterns included are worth the experience, though it might have been nicer to have a bit more than the typical smooth texture.

Use

The AP was made as an anal toy, so naturally that is what it's best at. While you can hold it in hand, the suction base makes it a much better item to stick to something and use it in a hands-free manner. In terms of situation, it is good either as a solo item or a couples item. The suction cup at the base is larger than the part of the toy you can insert, so you don't have to worry too much about getting it fully inside and being unable to retrieve it.

Material / Texture

The Probe is very smooth to the touch. The only ridges on it are near the base, for where the vibrator cord is attached to it. There was no real smell or taste attached to the toy. As for stimulation, the texture is fairly lacking, due to being smooth, however the vibrations are the more important feature here.

Design / Shape / Size

I felt the design was fairly simple. It's not flared out in the middle like a butt plug, and there isn't a lot of taper either. It's not really discreet, though it is small and would be easy to pack. The size is in the middling range for this sort of toy. It's not so skinny as to be undetectable, yet not so thick as to be a painful stretch.

Performance

I think the suction and vibration are the best features of the Adonis Probe. The suction is very powerful, making it a wonder for hands-free usage. As for the vibrations, rumble is an accurate term. For the size of the batteries used, this one delivered a much more powerful vibration than one would think.

Care and Maintenance

You can't submerge the toy in water, so cleaning should be carefully done with a cloth and soapy water. Toy wipes are also a good option. The main area to be careful around is where the cord goes inside to the vibrating motor. You definitely don't want any water seeping in here.

To store it, you could use the box, though mine was pretty mangled when I got it. A simple cloth bag would work just as well, however. Just make sure you pop out the batteries when not using it, so they don't get worn down.

For lubrication purposes, stick to water-based lubes. Nearly all the toys I've come across require them, so it's best to get in the habit of just buying water-based and only using that.

Experience

I had an overall enjoyable experience with the Adonis Probe. I love the powerful vibrations, and the suction cup makes it even easier to work with. One of my peeves is a toy that has a cord or something attached at the base, making it more difficult to use while it is against another surface. Thankfully the Probe gets it right, and has the cord attached on the side of the base.
