Not a Safe Toy

The Falcon Ass Egg was a good size for starters but the safety features of the toy were not safe at all. This is going to be a no for me.

I finally got the Falcon Ass Egg (starter size) in the mail and put it to work. To be honest, I was really intimidated when I ordered it because I am not advanced with anal play and it looked scary. Then it came in the mail. It is not scary at all, the starter size is much smaller than I thought it would be, even if it is a tiny bit thicker than I prefer. The Falcon Ass Egg is made of a smooth PVC, which is phthalate free. It's 3.5" tall and about 2 inches thick at the widest spot.

The Egg is solid and does not fold in with pressure. It was not textured in any way, just a smooth egg. It's very dense and looks like a miniature Nerf ball. The package it came in was a small cardboard box with a plastic display that took up half of the whole box itself. It's not too hard to open if you have fingernails. If you don't, get scissors. After opening, the box isn't ideal for storage because it would be a hassle taking it out all over again.

The design itself was pretty basic for an anal egg toy. If you're looking for something solid but don't want to use borosilicate glass for some reason, this might attract you. Although borosilicate glass would be a much better option because it is more body safe than PVC and it cleans easier.

Unfortunately the material attracts lint. It had lint on it before I opened the box. The material wasn't difficult to wash the lint off of unlike products made of jelly, which is a huge pain in the rear to keep clean. This can be washed in warm water and soap or a toy cleaner easily, but the real hassle would be keeping it lint free after washing. I would suggest drying it with a lint-free cloth and storing it in a plastic box. The good thing is it is compatible with oil, silicone, or water-based lubes.

The Falcon Ass Egg isn't what I would call a safe anal toy. The base, which is also a small suction cup, is too small to be safe. My rule of thumb is this: If the width of the anal toy is wider than the width of the base then it is not safe. This could easily become lodged into someone's rectum if not careful. The base should be much wider than it is. Luckily, you can purchase an attachment to make the base larger here on EdenFantasys if you wanted to, which I might do if I want to use it again. It was not a very exciting toy and the safety of it is pretty questionable so I might end up tossing it for something safer.
Follow-up commentary
This toy is resting in a landfill somewhere. The material is just not body safe enough for me to consider keeping it. The base is not flared enough to be safe for anal insertion. While it was durable, solid, and had a nice shape to it, it was a constant worry on my mind whether or not I should keep it. If this were a safer material and had a nice flared base on it, I would recommend it.

The diameter of the egg is 2 inches? That's quite a bit thicker than what's mentioned on the product page info. Thanks for sharing.

LuckyLady, thanks for your detailed and thoughtful review.

I recently purchased the Falcon 3.5" anal egg. Just a bite regarding my experiences. The egg I received was 1-7/8" in diameter. That diameter was a bit concerning to me because the largest anal toy I had used in the past was slightly smaller in diameter. With some WP lubricant and a good egg shape design I was able to insert the egg. I had it inserted for two hours and it never felt like it was coming out (and that's with walking, sitting and bending). I never liked any of the tapered plugs because they never stayed in.

I understand your safety concern about the base diameter being significantly less that the diameter of the egg. Your concern is justified. However, for me at least the base never self inserted itself during the 2 hours the egg was in my anus. And that is with my walking, sitting in several chairs, making the bed and picking a few things off of the floor.

Oh yes, and after two hours a "push" was all that was needed to remove the egg.

In my opinion it is the very best anal toy I have ever purchased. Of course it is important for each person to make their own personal judgment. I'll let you know how things go with the egg in the future.
